i thought it would be fun to repurpose these old fan characters for my sword designs

I haven't really put much thought into Galaxia (heroic type, very serious, butch, a little haughty?) (left) but Oblivio (right) is my baby girl lmao

they were both military I think, but war is weird in the mirror world, everyone just shatters and comes back eventually, and there is very, very little that can bypass that

Obi spent many years attempting to hone such an ability and it utterly consumed her. she experimented on probably hundreds of people, leaving some of them in horrible half-shattered states as she got closer to the solution. even she became permanently cracked / half-shattered from the experimenting she did on herself. the journey also left her mind in a pretty unwell state, but, that wasn't in great shape to begin with

basically as soon as she succeeded, she started killing people (eager to try out her "new toy" then excited by how it felt and couldn't stop), became infamous for it, and then eventually got turned into / put into a sword for it I guess. she was probably also known as Galaxia before that point, and took on the new name as a representation of the power she uncovered

the potent energy she utilized to perma-kill and her intense burning desire to keep doing it lives on in the sword and consumes anyone that holds it. the sword retains its ability to kill mirror worlders permanently. DMK went through a whole thing with it and now he's one of the only people around that can use it without instantly losing his fucking mind. he still "feels" the desires of the sword, but they have a very souls of the innocent / 2 bagels dynamic going on

oblivio will forever remain the best episode. marinette and adrien reduced to their barest components, no memories just personality traits and basic know-how. they both act like such a perfect mix of themselves and their hero personas and of course fall in love immediately because they both fell in love not with an image but with the core traits of each other

But the Chat Blanc angst is unmatched!!!!

So true. Chat Blanc is probably the best episode of Miraculous, followed by Oblivio, for different reasons. It's painful to know such gems can exist in this series, but they are so rare.
