I got tagged by brianenos (thank you, Nel! <3) to do the Get To Know Me Better meme... a while ago now. I am late answering, but better late than never, right?

Where I live: Just north of Detroit, Michigan, USA

Time/ date: 9:56 PM, July 19, 2015

Average amount of sleep: 7-ish hours, give or take an hour either way. But usually 7. I cannot, for the life of me, ever sleep more than 8 hours. Not even when I’m at death’s door.

Most recently enjoyed and watched movie: I finally got around to renting Kingsman, which was both exactly what I expected and somehow still a delightful surprise. I loved that it didn’t take itself seriously; it was funny and fun and stylish and just a damn good time, nailing all the elements that made classic Bond/spy films so fun while keeping it fresh. As I watched it, I kept thinking, “This is fucking bonkers,” and then, “This is fucking bonkers, I LOVE IT.” 

Favourite band: Kasabian, T. Rex, the Runaways, Rolling Stones, Arctic Monkeys, Tame Impala, The Dead Weather

One thing that ticks me off: Negativity/reflexive cynicism/people shitting on non-problematic things that other people enjoy in order to pretend to be ~sophisticated~ and ~edgy~.

Favourite drink: Depends on the weather and my mood, but right now I am all about the quirky indie/niche/throwback sodas (especially stuff like birch beer and cream soda and ginger beer and really unusual flavors) and fruity lemonades. I enjoy good craft beer, but not super-hoppy stuff, because my palate really does not appreciate bitterness at all. I am not immune to the cheap thrills of wine coolers, but I am most happy with some sweet, frilly, fruity cocktail in hand, like a mojito or flirtini.
