First spin This Wheel to get a companion(ish person), then spin This Wheel to get a Doctor. Feel free to spin until you get someone you're familiar with. Now.
Do they fit together?
traveled together in canon and yes
traveled together in canon and no
they would be fantastic together
they'd be fine. good. ok.
unsure. could go either way.
don't think it would be that good
bad. very bad. not good.
nuanced nuance
Feel free to interpret "fit together" however you want. Would they like each other? Would they be entertaining to watch? Could mean either or both. Whatever you decide.
I got Tegan and the Fifteenth Doctor. It very much depends. If he met her instead of the Fifth Doctor then he'd definitely get her back to Heathrow and everything would be fine. If he meets her in present day, then it could be a bit interesting.
Peri and the Seventh Doctor. I picked unsure, because that could go well, it could go really badly, and also she doesn't blow stuff up.
Liz and the Second Doctor. On the one hand, he wouldn't undermine her scientific expertise nearly as much as Three does, so I feel like they might be able to build a good thing with him kind of... surreptitiously playing support for her in those kinds of settings, doing his Two thing of flitting around the edges of a scene. Two's actually working TARDIS also means he could actually introduce her more fully to a broader scientific world, which she might find initially overwhelming but subsequently *fascinating*.
On the other hand, I feel like Liz's patience for Two's Silly Little Guy shtick would be Extremely Thin, and she would just get Very Exasperated Very Quickly. I feel like maybe in small doses they'd work well together-- if you had a setup with Two where UNIT are a recurring presence a la current Who with Kate Stewart et al-- but perhaps not actually as full-time travelling companions.
