Blinks one eye at a time. It’s subtle but he totally does it.
Has eaten the fortune out of a fortune cookie because he thought that was part of the process of making the fortune come true.
When told by MC he had to rinse rice before cooking it he asked if he needed to use soap.
Has eaten whole, raw, potatoes because he thought it would give him protein like eating raw eggs would.
Asmodeus
He’s pretty; he doesn’t have to be smart.
Once stared frustratingly in the mirror for 15 minutes trying to figure out why the phrase written on his shirt was backwards.
The first time he dyed his hair, he got mad that it didn’t grow the same color out of his scalp.

More than once has screamed at a game system for not working when he had just not realized that it was unplugged.
Has definitely run into walls after sitting 2 feet away from his giant TV like a 3 year old.

I think I could never run of ideas for how airheaded this man is, but I’ll go for the abstract ones since there are many that are obvious.

This man has absolutely done the dumbest shit when he is sleep deprived.
Will lose things that he is holding in his hands as he’s using them- often it’s his pen or his phone.
has drank scalding hot coffee because he forgot it was too hot to drink.
Leaves things in the oven and microwave all the time. Usually Beel finds it and eats it, and he’s none the wiser.
Talks to himself all the time, usually giving reminders to do things or a grocery list, but also will just narrate things.

Diavolo
Holds up his his fingers in an L shape to determine right from left- which never works because he forgets which way an L is supposed to go.
Will believe pretty much anything you tell him about the human world if you say it with enough conviction.
Constantly doing the most ridiculous things without thinking of the consequences- often times leaving Lucifer or Barbatos to clean up his mess.
Constantly bothers Mc, Lucifer, and Barbatos when they’re busy- even after just being scolded for being a distraction- because he forgets that they’re doing something and wanted to show them something cool
Barbatos
He’s probably the least ditzy, but even he has his moments.
Walks into the kitchen and forgets why he was going in there. All the time.
Accidentally goes through all of the Little D’s names before getting the right one- even if he had JUST done the same thing for a different little D
Will step out the door to go somewhere with Lord Diavolo and immediately wonder if he left the Stove on. He will go check, and still wonder if it’s on 5 hours later.
Mephistopheles
Simp! Simp alert!
Will do anything you tell him if you said “Well, I guess I could go ask Lucifer to do it...” even if its embarrassing or flat-out dangerous lol
Diavolo occupies his brain at all times so he’s often distracted by intense pining for their “friendship” that was totally not a one-way crush. (go listen to “When Somebody Loved Me” from Toy Story 2 lol)

Didn’t believe that Belphie and Beel were twins because they didn’t look alike (she did not know fraternal twins were a thing).
Is convinced that Solomon is an alien.
Mispronounces words all the time because she rarely talks to others until the exchange program and primarily sees things written (e.g. Fragile as “Fra-gee-lay” and Bologna as “Bow-log-nah”)
Does not test her traps before using them, and gets mad when they don’t work.
So I have this headcanon that demons are way taller than the average human. The average human is 5’4 - 5’9 (175cm - 162cm) and the average demon height is something like 6’4 - 6’9 (or taller depending on genes diet I assume, so you can only imagine what height the bros are)
Imagine in the Devildom all the furniture is significantly bigger than it is in the human world to account for their heights. Like say a counter top is about to your waist or lower in the human realm, in the Devildom it’s up to your chest or even higher.
Queue all the boys making fun of you for being tiny.

A/N: I'm up because I had a horrific nightmare and I'm just here calming myself down and trying to stay awake bc I'm too terrified to go back to sleep so I'm thinking of how each brother would comfort their Mc after something like that.
Lucifer
Absolutely wakes up the minute he hears you whimpering in your sleep and tries his best to wake you.
Will carefully wrap you in the softest hug to calm, pressing kisses to your shoulders and whispering soft reassurance that you're safe in his arms
Will probably run a hot bath or shower just to have the sensation wash away any lingering feelings or images from the nightmare (will also hold you the entire time and delicately wash you as he does)
He will let you word vomit the dream to him if you want, he knows sometimes sharing the disturbing images that plague your dreams can help lessen their impact.
If you're too scared to fall back asleep, he will stay awake with you and cuddle.
He'll also play some soothing records and bring you your beverage of choice to relax with
Will offer a game of chess or another strategy game to get your mind off the dream
Will probably involve Barbatos and Belphie to help resolve your dream issue if there is something that can be done about it, because dammit he hates seeing you in pain.
Mammon
He will probably wake up as you're whimpers turn louder and you jolt awake with a scream.
immediately pulls you into his arms and hushes you, reminding you to breathe and reassuring you that he's "got ya."
Will ask if you want to talk about it after you calm down. Hes no stranger to nightmares so he knows sometimes taking about it can ease the pain of them.
Will offer to take a walk with you- no matter how late at night/early in the morning it is, and no matter how tired he is.
If you're too afraid to sleep,, he will offer to distract you by talking your ear off about random shit, watching a goofy movie, or playing a round of cards or pool.
Will gather your favorite comforting junk food to snack on while you do any of these things
He will also try his best to Lull you to sleep by humming and either rubbing your back or massaging your scalp- whichever you prefer
Levi
He is startled when he feels you writhing on top of him, but can recognize you're caught in a nightmare
He will do his best to gently wake you, but he's nervous, so his shakes may be a bit rougher than he intends
He will hug you until you calm down, and may even turn into his demon form to wrap you tighter with his tail for good measure.
He will offer you any plushie or body pillow you want from his collection to comfort you- even the ultra rare ones that only he is normally allowed to touch
Will turn on a video game and play with you, or watch a silly or juvenile anime to help distract you from the dream.
I hc his jellyfish and aquarium lights can change color, so he'll set them to whatever color you find the most soothing (or turn them to an fading pattern so they change colors slowly)
He may even offer to sneak out with you for a late-night/early-morning swim if you catch him feeling especially confident.
Satan
He's probably awake when you start to become restless and whimpering, but he knows that waking up someone from a nightmare can be like waking a sleep walker, so he's very gentle in coaxing you out of the dream.
Will absolutely hold you on his lap, rocking you as you come down from the panic.
Will offer to read to you to distract your thoughts from the dream, and also make you some soothing tea to sip while he does
He will also offer to take you out and pet the cats in the garden as an additional distraction
Makes his bed more comfy for you by stealing blankets and pillows from around the house, creating almost like a fort
He will also hold you in his arms and recite some nice haikus or other poems to you while you try to go back to sleep.
Asmo
Up in an instant due to how light of a sleeper he is and already knows what you need after waking you.
Immediately cupping your face while kissing away your tears
Will draw you a bath and sit in with you while you relax in the basin, as well as play some soothing music and put some nice chamomile and Lavender in his oil diffusor
Get ready for a full on massage and watch the tension from the dream melt away.
He will also get you a nice face mask and give you a gentle mani/pedi
Will give you as many cuddles as you want throughout the night, and will make sure to forgo his routine just this once to ensure you sleep peacefully
will also sing to you to help you sleep if you ask him to!
Beel
Immediate bear hug and begging for you to wake up as he easily recognizes the signs of a nightmare
After you wake up he is reassuring you that you're safe with him, but he knows the pain of nightmares well and how he wishes he could be in your dreams to protect you too.
Will take you to the kitchen and make whatever comfort food you want- even if its a whole fucking meal.
Encourages you to drink a lot of water due to how dry your mouth probably is after breathing so hard.
He will offer to have you accompany him for a early workout to distract yourself (don't worry, if you're not into running you'll be carried on his back)
He will also offer to watch a movie with you or even just do some baking as a distraction.
Calls on Belphie and Lucifer to help with any recurrence of nightmares, wanting to ensure your slumbers are stress-free.
Belphie
Sleeps like a rock so you'd probably have to wake him up and tell him you had a nightmare.
He's familiar with nightmares, but doesn't have them often due to his powers. He has also helped Beel with his nightmares in the past though.
Immediately pulls you down under the covers with him and caresses you gently. Reminding you his arms are safe now and that the dream isn't real.
He's down for a video or board game as a distraction, but may doze off here and there despite trying his best to stay awake.
Would wake up Beel so you have extra support, and will probably offer to watch a movie together as a distraction for you.
Will offer to enter your dreams any time for you to ease the nightmares, depending on how frequently you get them.

Diavolo is a busy man, being the future king of hell and what not, but the minute you come to him requesting cuddles after a long day, he is immediately there. Diavolo will even go so far as carrying you bridal-style to bed, nuzzling the top of your head the whole way. His cuddles are strong and supportive, and you know that you’re safe when you’re tangled in his limbs. He will lay gentle kisses to the top of your head, on your nose, or against your temple- really wherever you want him too as he squishes you against his body. If you need to cry, he’ll let you, but he would also do whatever it takes to make you happy again- giving gentle tickles to the spots he knows will get you giggling.
Barbatos
You know it will be hard for Barbatos to squeeze in some cuddling time with you, but he always does make time for it. He will find you already curled up in bed waiting, and he will sneak under the covers behind you. He will pull you flush against him, sighing deeply as he melts into your warm body. He will nuzzle his head against the back of your neck while his thumb rubs lazy circles along your tummy. If you’re awake, he will ask how your day was and say again- like he does every time- that he had waited all days to snuggle up against you. If you don’t want to talk or are too tired, he understands- just touching you is enough. You wish his hold on you would last an eternity, but you awake to find him gone with a cup of hot tea waiting on the nightstand next to your head.
Simeon
Simeon loves to hold you in his lap after a long day, collapsing together on the couch in the common room while some mindless tv show plays in the background. He will hold you close and intertwine his fingers with yours, squeezing gently every-so-often to remind you that he’s here with you if you end up zoning out. He loves rubbing your knuckles with his thumb or tracing your arms with his fingers too- anything to get more of your flesh against his. He may hum to himself or to you, swaying you gently with him as he does- especially if you’re upset or sad.
Solomon
Solomon usually loves cuddling with you in the wee morning hours, as he goes to bed terribly late. He will snake his arm behind you and pull you up against him, almost having you laying on your back on top of him. He will wrap both arms around your midsection and place gently kisses to the nape of your neck- especially loving it when you squeal or giggle at the feeling of his lips grazing the area. He loves falling asleep like this- it makes him feel wholly connected to you in both his waking state and his dream-like state.
Belphie
Belphie has two cuddle moods- death-grip koala or using your tummy as a pillow. In the first, he will cling to you as if he’d die if he were to ever let go, every so often sighing deeply after he inhales your lovely scent. In the latter, he lays his head on your tummy while you both gaze up at the stars in the planetarium. This is the perfect time to get him to open up about something, talk about deeper things, or to vent if you’ve had a particularly long day. Belphie will often not filter what he says in these moments, so you get a true glimpse into the inner workings of his mind- that is, if he doesn’t fall asleep before you have the opportunity to.
Beel
Beel loves having you lay on top of him, with you on your belly, gazing into each others eyes as he wraps his large, muscular arms around you. He may rub his thumb along the meat of your hips, or draw lazy figure eights on your back as you nuzzle into his chest. If you press your ear to his heart listen carefully, you can almost hear him purring with delight as he holds you. He often likes recounting his and your day while you lay like this, and will offer an ear to have you vent if you’ve had a hard day. He would also love feeding each other snacks when you lay like this, relishing in partaking in his two favorite activities.
Asmo
Asmo will cuddle you anywhere at any time, even going so far as to hang all around you as you walk to class. He especially loves cuddling in the bath after a long day, resting you in between his legs while he gives you a shoulder massage or caters to your grooming routine. Whichever you would prefer from him is fine, as long as he gets to be touching you. Afterwards, he would cling to you in his soft bed as you both gossip, or vent about things that bother you. He especially loves laying side-by-side with your legs intertwined, caressing your cheek as he gazes into your eyes. He may also steal a kiss or two if you let him.
Satan
Satan loves it when you sit in his lap when he reads. Whether it be sideways in one of the plush arm chairs in the library with his arms around you to hold you steady, or in between his legs with your head resting on his chest on his day-bed, he loves every minute of it. He doesn’t talk much, though if you’ve had a rough day he will let you vent and offer advice while he listens intently to every word. He will even read to you, if you’d like him too, taking pause to see if you have thoughts or questions on anything he’s read- as he often enjoys reading non-fiction. Satan will also occasionally pause to watch you, finding himself feeling content when observing your expressions when you are truly engrossed in a book.
Levi
Levi would obviously love cuddling you while he plays video games or watches anime, usually snuggling up against your side and holding your hand, or nuzzling his face into the crook of your neck when you sit front-facing on his lap. He is pretty nervous about touching people, so he often wont say much or point out when he snuggles closer to you, but you know that he’s content with the wide grin on his face after he relaxes against you. He’ll get used to it after some time, and may even let you snuggle on top of him in his bath tub if he gets comfortable (and brave) enough with you. If you need to cry, he will offer a hug and hold you tightly, finding pride in the fact that you trust him with your emotions.
Mammon
Mammon is a clingy cuddler, wanting to be touching all of you at once (if it were even possible). He is often restless and likes to switch cuddle positions often, so he’s perfect if you’re someone who’s squirmy or likes to switch between little and big spoon. Mammon doesn’t like to admit that it’s what he needs, instead silent slipping into bed with you and clenching you roughly against him while pouting. After awhile, he will relax and will let you vent your frustrations if you need to. If you need to cry, he will lay on his side next to you, cupping your face and reminding you that you’re his favorite human and that he is grateful for you, even if he is really embarrassed to admit it. Mammon especially loves any position where he can nuzzle his face against the crook of your neck, lost in your scent and the warmth of your body.
Lucifer
He would probably be busy well into the night with paperwork, so cuddling with him would likely have to take place in his office. Lucifer will have you settle in on his lap sideways, cradling you into his chest with one hand while his other scribbles away through the mounds of paperwork. He will rub your shoulder gently with the thumb of the hand that caresses you against him, occasionally pressing a kiss to your brow or nuzzling his cheek against your head. If you are upset and crying, he will abandon his paperwork briefly to clutch you tighter- figuring the work he has can wait because you take priority. He will rub soft circles on your lower back and hush you, reminding you that he’s here and not leaving you alone.
Hello, I was wondering if you would be willing to write a specific situation with Lucifer, Barbatos and Simeon where the reader used to receive all kind of abuse for years, and feels like they are not worth any kind of good things happening to them. Hi there anon! I absolutely can do this, but I am going to change the wording a bit and make this more a headcanon set for how these three approach an Mc with RSD - which is similar in how you are describing the characteristics of Mc here.
For those of you who don't know, Rejection-Sensitive Dysphoria (RSD) is a way to describe a cluster of symptoms that occurs within folks who are neurodivergent and/or have experienced extensive trauma, in which they have a strong sensitivity or fear of social rejection, criticism, or any sort of sense that they are being rejected socially. Some of the symptoms that this includes is low self-worth, emotional volatility, social anxiety, difficulties feeling connected to others, social withdrawal and pushing others away, and disbelief/distrust of affection or positive feedback. For many years, it was believed this was only something that could be passed through genetics in folks with ADHD, but now we have a better understanding of the symptoms and mental health, we know that RSD can exist within a variety of mental illnesses, such as ADHD, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder, Trauma or Stress Disorders, and Eating Disorders!
Also, I decided to add headcanons for other Obey Me! characters too, given that I have a feeling that will be asked for eventually.
How they comfort an Mc with Rejection-Sensitive Dysphoria

Diavolo
Diavolo at first would be surprised that you tend to push his affections away and come off to him as cold, but that doesn’t mean he stops giving you affection!
He will keep offering you kindness and mild flirtation despite that because that’s just who he is!
Though, this may backfire for him if you see him acting similarly with others. But you cannot ignore the fact that the way he treats you makes you feel special!
But often you question if you deserve it, and anyone who you’d bring this question to would tell you Diavolo is head over heels for you.
If you finally decide to bring your insecurity of being rejected to him and your past history of rejection/neglect/abuse, he would double down, doing his best to prove to you that you are worthy of his love (and you are!!)
He will probably become a lot more physically affectionate too, if that’s something you’re okay with- like lots of hand-holding and hugs for sure!
He will also give you tons and TONS of verbal validation that he loves you (either platonically or romantically, however your Mc fits in with him!)
Overall he’s really good at his reassurance, and does his best to rid you of your rejection fears- at least with him! He will also try to validate and ensure that others want to be around you too as best he can, though this may be harder to believe.
Barbatos
Barbatos’ cold demeanor makes him a bit harder to be vulnerable around, and it makes sense that you fear he hates you or doesn’t want to be around you when his life revolves around the prince of Hell.
Out of habit, you try not to get close to him despite the fact that it pains you to push him away, but you’ve convinced yourself any type of relationship with him isn’t worth it.
Over time, Barbatos will be concerned with the fact that you seemingly bypass him or act very surface-level around him, but he’d be lying if he didn’t say he hadn’t noticed it with the others too.
He tries his best to grow closer, but it all just seems like he’s doing his “job” to you. Eventually though, he will figure this out.
He would approach you about it, but gently- probably inviting you on a tea date and asking what keeps you at arms length.
He knows of your past already given his insight into your life prior to you coming here, but he would still let you talk at your own pace and not make assumptions should you decide to open up about it to him.
Even if you decide not to open up to him, he will try harder to reaffirm the fact that he does love and admire you- perhaps still not saying it with words, but with more obvious actions- like inviting you over for tea dates, taking more specific time out of his schedule for you, learning about your tastes and making foods specifically palatable to you, etc.
Simeon
Simeon is smitten with you so quickly, so at first he may be hurt that you are so closed off and withdrawn.
After a while though, he will connect the dots and realize it’s not necessarily something he’s doing wrong, but due to your past experiences of people rejecting you and lying to you.
He would sit you down to talk to you about it, maybe being a little pushy about you opening up to him, but he just really wants to understand what he could do to make you feel loved.
He delivers on his goal though, and will do anything to get you to believe him when he says he cares about you and wants you around, even going so far as to write you letters weekly and leaving them in the HOL mailbox for you to find and read over.
He will also be much more in tune to your moods and offer whatever you may need in that moment- particularly if you’re isolating from others despite wanting interpersonal closeness.
He will make an effort to always spend time with you and engage in your hobbies, and make room for you to engage in his as well- ensuring that the activity is much more fun when done with you.
Solomon
Solomon is a bit more on the flirtatious side, so he may come off as just a sleeze ball at first when you meet him- resulting in you not taking any of his complements seriously.
Once he realizes you are dismissing every single compliment thought, he gets concerned- especially because he means every word.
He isn’t as in touch with his emotions as he used to be- living that long can sometimes jade a person.
He wont confront you on it, instead realizing that there is probably something in your past causing you to react that way and he will aim to rectify his actions appropriately.
If you decide to come to him though, he wont turn you away. He will listen intently and offer apologies for anything he’s said or done that had triggered your RSD.
He will try to be more genuine in his compliments, and work with you on actually believing them instead of shrugging them off.
He will also be more ready to stand at your aid when one of the brothers tease you- reminding them to watch who they’re insulting especially if they don’t mean it.
Belphie
Belphie would hate to admit it, but he understands the feeling to a degree.
He always feels like the odd one out amongst his brothers and friends alike, feeling that people are always annoyed with his low energy and random sleeping spells.
It may take awhile for you to be convinced that he means it when he says he wants to spend time with you- mostly due to, ya know, everything.
But over time, you would surely notice how his cuddles with you are so much different than his cuddles with his brothers- there’s a desperation to them, as if he’s afraid you’ll leave him.
If you decide to talk to him about it, he will be very open and honest in telling you that he can relate, and ensure you that he loves and cares about you despite everything.
Honestly, even just the talk alone may qualm your anxieties.
He is always open to reassure you, and you may even help each other with your rejection sensitivity- taking turns asking for reassurance when it’s needed and providing validation when the other needs it would surely strengthen your bond.
Beel
At first, Beel really just thinks you want nothing to do with him or the rest of his family when you push them away and reject his attempts at getting closer.
After you sacrifice yourself for him in the catacombs though, he knows that you care about him and wants to do so much to show you he does too.
Beel has a pretty stoic face, so sometimes its hard to tell when he is expressing genuine emotion. The difficulty in reading him may make some things come across differently than how he intends.
When he seems to not make any progress with your relationship with him, he will confront you on it- maybe a bit too directly.
If you decide to open up to him, he will be very present in listening to why you have a hard time believing others care.
He will wrap you in the tightest of hugs and assure you that he truly does care for you- and there’s probably not a single person he cares for more outside of his brothers like you. (expect lots more hugs from now on)
He will do his best to work on expressing more emotion outwardly, and showing you love through gift giving, acts of service, and quality time- like inviting you to the gym, doing things for you without being asked, or bringing you treats from his outing to Madam Screams
With each action, he will finish it by saying he loves you, and each one will be wholly genuine. (I definitely can see him saying it almost as much as Asmo)
Asmo
Asmo is stunned when you don’t accept/believe any of his compliments.
He has tried everything to convince you he is being genuine, and yet you still pull away from him.
Eventually he will be so starved for you to return his affection that he will come to you practically sobbing, wondering why you arent as enamored with him as he is you.
Obviously this goes without saying, but it’s hard to accept the embodiment of Lust’s attempts at affection at first when you’re almost certain that all he wants from you is sex, and he doesn’t really care about you as a whole...right?
Well, you would be wrong actually.
But Asmo doesn’t realize that’s where your heads at, so when you tell him, he sort of gets a wake up call and realizes that the genuine compliments mixed with intense flirting maybe wasn’t the best approach to take.
From here on, a lot of the flirtatious comments are kept at a minimum, and he often reassures you of more things about you that he likes other than just your appearance or your body.
Asmo will finish every action by stating, matter-of-factly, that he loves you and cherishes every moment you spend together.
After awhile, it will be pretty difficult not to believe him.
Satan
Satan is pretty aloof, especially when you are first getting to know him, so he doesn’t bat much of an eye at first when you’re a bit distant.
Though once he warms up to you, he is a bit shocked that you are constantly avoiding his attempts at building a closer relationship to you.
He will be especially shocked when you degrade yourself in response to his words of affirmation and attempts at romancing you
He will probably attribute it to things he personally had done- like the threats he made when he tried to force you into a pact with him
He will confront you about it quite bluntly, wanting to get to the bottom of it right away rather than letting it fester.
Once you open up to him, he will take in everything you say, immediately reworking how he approaches you in his brain.
He’s very gentle in his reassurance that he cares about you, and that he appreciates you for who you are.
He will be very patient with you, and do whatever it takes to reaffirm you that you mean the world to him.
He will also give more platonic physical affection (like hand-holding, snuggling, sitting close to you, etc) and make more of an effort to go out of his way to spend time with you, even digging into his brother’s quality time.
Levi
Oof, this boy hard relates to you and honestly would probably experience his own form of RSD given all he does in game with the self deprecation and difficulty accepting compliments
Honestly, he’s probably the one you would grow the most attached to given that he seems to mirror your avoidant responses and has a difficulty maintaining friendships with others
Though his comments on you being a normie and the “umm actually” attitude he has on occasion will wear on you, so he will be half surprised when you become more distant, but again his own rejection sensitivity will lead him to believe it’s because you don’t like him.
I imagine any confrontation about the situation will have to be spur of the moment, and I can see either of you nervously blurting it out at each other (and it goes something like this)
After a long talk, you both would form a sort of kinship regarding your RSD, and this would probably bond you both pretty close.
He’s not much for verbal affection, but he will try his best to reassure you he cares about you and loves you, and will work on reducing his own self-deprecation and accepting compliments if you promise to too.
Mammon
Mammon is completely oblivious to any signs that you are avoiding his attempts at getting closer or are triggered by his constant degrading.
He really does love you, but how are you to know when he constantly calls you stupid or useless, even if he doesn’t mean it and his brothers try to reassure you that his love for you is obvious.
It gets worse when he actually does start showing you more affection and slowly opening his true feelings to you and try to be physically close to you more. All this does is confuse you, and continue your internal cycle of thinking you’re misreading signs and actually are a nuisance to him
It will probably take a you having a break down in order for him to finally get it through his head that his words are actively hurting you and triggering your RSD
After he learns, he will feel SO terrible. Expect many apologies, tight hugs, and maybe even some tears from him as he understands more and more what you’ve been put through
From here on, he’s much more cautious in thinking over his words before he speaks, being sure that he’s not going to say anything to hurt you.
It takes awhile and he does make mistakes, but he does his best to rectify them.
Expect lots of make-up gifts, often things you had mentioned you wanted or needed in passing, with a formal apology and genuine iteration of how he loves you and would be lost without you.
Lucifer
Lucifer is another who is pretty aloof at first, and you wouldn’t be wrong in automatically assuming he wants nothing to do with you.
Though, after everything you’ve done for his family, he does want to get closer to you, despite the fact that his exterior is still calloused around his brothers
This may result in a lot of confusion for you. On one hand he is very soft when you’re alone, praising you and telling you how much he loves and cares...but on the other, he is distant and sometimes straight up neglectful around others.
Unintentionally, he is repeatedly triggering the RSD. He has some awareness into the fact that it impacts you eventually, but he can’t quite put his finger on it.
He would probably try to approach you about it, being overly blunt, which may come across as accusatory, so I wouldn’t be shocked if it would push you into a breakdown.
Lucifer would soften after this and provide a nearly overwhelming amount of comfort. He will rub your back, snuggle you, give you some gentle kisses to your forehead or knuckles, and give a lot of verbal reassurance and apologies for how he’s acted.
Once you open up, Lucifer is very receptive and will ask what you need in regards to reassurance that he does care and love you.
He won’t automatically make assumptions, but if you’re not sure, he will try a variety of different things- like holding your hand or being physically close to you in public, more words of reassurance, taking time off work to spend time with you, gift giving, etc.
No matter what you say, consider it done- even if it may take a stab at his pride, because you’re worth sacrificing his sin for.

Barbatos
Barbatos’ kisses are firm and refined, but delicate all the same.
