Flappers I cant help but feel a little familiarity with his character of him being naive and too hopeful that it ends up getting him hurt, but also seeing him break HURTS because you can only sit there and watch and OOOUGHHHH I DONT WANT HIM TO BE SAD!!!!!
And lately I’ve been realizing that his character has been inspiring me to become more expressive about stuff that moves me, that I’m now feeling to the fullest and not as ashamed of what makes me happy. So the whole dynamic of him with my self insert Gale is pretty much based on how I was a few years ago (and maybe a little based on my goth phase when I was a teen lol). Where at first her and Flappers become friends out of their own desperation of not wanting to be alone, and they become a little duo and would always team up because they both allow each other to be themselves. So the idea of these two friends falling in love is cute to me because they end up getting shy and tip toeing so much that is OBVIOUS to everyone else but them, because they just don’t feel like they deserve the other. But since day one they found each other cute and would get nervous, but just ignored their feelings. Until it becomes too big for either to handle lol
Flappers wants to help others, and Gale needs it gfjfjgjf but also he gives Gale a new purpose, something to protect and fight for.
