I didnt know which I liked so i thought why not both! Obsidian is def a babe but all the new fusion debuts were just fantastic. Rainbow is my second favorite for color scheme and personality and sunstroke surprisingly is growing on me and i love that she reminds me of Mikey from Ninja Turtles! And Smoky is always fun to draw!

A Note on Dragonglass

So I understand other people are having deep emotional thoughts and biting their nails about shipping in the new GOT season, but honestly the number on thing that’s bothering me about it?

The goddamn dragonglass.

Dragonglass is obsidian. Obsidian can’t be melted down and recast like metal. You can’t get large blades from it. You just can’t. An obsidian sword shouldn’t look like this:

It should look like this:

This is a Macuahuitl. It’s how mesoamerican cultures made actual obsidian weaponry. This is what they should be facing the army of the dead with.

And that’s the tea.

Obsidian (A Lux Novel #1) No Spoilers

First of all, look at this cover! The story starts when Katy Swartz moves to a new town after her father dies from cancer.  As she settles in, she introduces herself to her hot neighbor, Daemon, and asks him for directions. He's unbelievably good looking, but he's rude and arrogant. Angered by his treatment, Katy becomes friends with his twin sister Dee who reassures her. Katy and Daemon are forced to spend time together and slowly grow warm to one another. She also starts noticing strange things happening when she spends time with the twins and discovers a secret that changes her life.  Overall this book is super fluffy and cute. It has an original plot that surprised me, and the author did a good job in not making it cheesy. I love the back and forth between Katy and Daemon. Katy has a quick wit and challenges Daemon in every possible. OH and Daemon is literally perfect!
