Which title do you like better?
Fremde Federn
The Palms Of Sorrowed Kings
Fremde Federn
English Translation (literal): Foreign Feathers
Translation Explanation: This is part of the german saying: "Sich mit fremden Federn schmücken" which means "to take credit for other peoples work." (the literal translation is "to decorate oneself with other (people's) feathers") Therefore the title essentially means "Other People’s Work."

ALBUMS OF THE WEEK! It’s Saturday morning, and therefore time for me to post the records that got the most plays out of me. Khemmis reigned supreme with Hunted, their stellar second release. Their brand of epic, doomed heavy metal is the perfect recipe for me. Next up was Ozzy Osbourne’s Tribute. I’d forgotten just how wonderful Randy Rhoads sounds on this, and his takes on the Black Sabbath songs are really cool. Frozen Soul’s Crypt of Ice came in at # 3 because it is awesome and seeing them live last weekend lit a fire under me to play this again. Confession: I listened to Morbid Angel’s Altars of Madness for the first time ever this week. I wasn’t into death metal as a kid, so I totally missed the MA train. It was okay. I prefer Vader and Gatecreeper, though. 💀 1. Khemmis - Hunted 2. Ozzy Osbourne/Randy Rhoads - Tribute 3. Frozen Soul - Crypt of Ice (2021) 4. Darkthrone - Eternal Hails …… (2021) 5. Morbid Angel - Altars of Madness 6. Gatecreeper - Deserted 7. Malokarpatan - Krupinské Ohne 8. Obsequiae - Aria Of Vernal Tombs 9. Vader - The Art of War 💀 What was on your playlist or turntable this week?
