boom boom.
* &. for @obsgyu
the city is crowded for once, people turning from each corner of the buildings, each street and road with their hands full of groceries, shopping bags, or grasping a phone or holding the hand of another. ten thinks for a second how unbelievable it is that even early in the morning, with the dim sun in the background and the blue merely beginning to dot the sky, there’s so many people doing human things. then, he reminds himself he can’t really judge when he’s there as well.
his eyes scan the expanse of the cafe he’s in, in all its protruding serenity and nostalgia. there’s a few people inside and sitting with others, quiet conversation and chatter being the protruding noise among the serene atmosphere. he prefers this sort of place to anywhere else, when there aren’t people digging their noses into things that are none of their business.
read: the nosy people are usually humans.
he pauses for a second after his fingers curl around his cup of coffee. then, as he turns around, there’s a split second where his gaze just manage to fall onto a face, then brushes past him. and then he looks back, familiarity gnawing away at the corners of his mind. unconsciously, his mouth turns up in amusement. he said he would be seeing him soon.
ten takes careful footsteps towards the boy, then takes a seat in the chair across from him.
“oh? mingyu-ssiㅡwhat a surprise.”
(it really isn’t.)
