Narinder holds a lot of knowledge on resurrection and death. More than even Shamura did before deeming him a threat. That knowledge came at a price.

I'm still exploring how I want to draw Narinder after he is turned mortal, so expect his appearance to shift around a bit.

Preventative Care

While going in for a routine check-up, Obi-Wan finds out he isn't as healthy as he thought. Things go downhill quickly. (part of my med bay diaries medical accuracy series) 5.5k words // rated M for somewhat graphic medical descriptions

The only thing worse than being forced to go to the medbay when ill was having to go when feeling perfectly fine. Obi-Wan’s foot tapped impatiently as he waited for his turn. Yearly physicals were a waste of time, in his opinion. What could they possibly find by doing quick glances at his ears and nose and tapping his knees until they involuntarily kicked?

Knowing his thoughts on the subject, Cody felt it necessary to accompany him. (Holding him prisoner was more like it.)

“My appointment was at eleven,” Obi-Wan grumbled, checking his watch for the fourth time in the last few minutes.

“It’s only five past eleven, sir,” Cody said with a sigh.

“I believe I have a meeting—”

“You don’t.”

Obi-Wan crossed his arms over his chest, sinking down in the chair. He was self-aware enough to realize he was being a bit childish. There was just something about going to the healers that brought that side out of him.

Meet the fam!

Timber! He's the oldest of the bunch, comparatively 60s to a human. He transforms into one of these babies:

Tbh his name isnt actually Timber but his first emcounter with a human involved him getting his optic cracked by a piece of lumber and falling over. Some dumbass human shouted "TIIIIIIIMBER" as he fell over and it stuck. He was a Decepticon.

Next is DUCK'N'COVER!!!!! A set of young twins picked up by Timber after the exodus from Cybertron. They transform into identical little two-seater ATVs and help heard cattle bc its the only thing that uses their energy.

They are Little and Timber will gut you if look at them wrong. They were from a neutral colony that got wiped out by a Cosmic Rust plague.

Next up is my girl ARTY! She's an old model semi truck and hauls the farm's goods off to market. She doesn't remember what her name was before due to heavy processor damage that they don't have the resources to help fix. Her name is shortened from something else as well (this is a surprise tool that will help us later!)

She's a Big Girl and likes sitting in the cow field when she's not needed. She was an Autobot.

Next up is POPS! No one knows what his name actually is, just that he's old as shit (think Kup old) and transforms into a tractor. He does most of the hauling around the farm, hay rides in fall, pulls a sleigh with the horses in winter.

He likes naps. Autobot.

They all live on a farm in the northwest somewhere they have no idea if anyone else survived. So they stay with the human family they befriended 200 years ago. Including travelling across the continent with them and protecting them. Human ocs will come later tho ^-^

Sneak peak at my Yellow cat, Arty.

Without the bishops to show to tell their followers what to do, they start to take matters into their own hands. Each village is different in how they interpret their bishops' domain. Arty's village decided the sacrafice of a few was better for the whole. He was the last in a long line of followers chosen to be sacrificed.

For better or worse, Arty would never be chosen as a normal sacrifice. His life would be consumed by the whims of his fellow followers. Whatever urges or fleeting desires they have often result in Arty getting beaten and dragged around his village or locked in the dark. Rarely does he partake in the normal rituals or celebrations, but the few who seem to take pity he clung to. Those in his position before have warned him. If there is nothing good he could cling to in the darkest moments, the chaos would consume and kill him.

To The Fountain (a comic by faliara)

His Royal Majesty has fallen ill. The disease that plagues him is said to be uncurable, but the Queen has set her sights on a miracle cure; water from the Fountain of Youth, a place spoken of only in legends of old.

The Queen has set out a reward for any brave adventurers who succeeds in such a task; young Arty, a peasant who lives at the borders of the kingdom, is one of them. Optimistic, he sets out to improve the lives of his family- but the boy he teams up with, ‘Linny’, is far more than he appears.

When the hell did I get too scared to share my ideas? My hand has become reluctant, my mouth even more so. This was from… What, the beginning of last year? I’ve barely continued it since then. It’s still an idea I’d very much like to continue, but my lack of talking about it with anyone has left it to stagnate, and with it my passion. As far as passion goes, there’s another story I’ve had for far longer than this and have developed to an extensive degree, but I’m far too protective of it to share it online just yet.

Even so, this is an idea I still really, really like, so my hopes to have made a few more pages for this aside, I’m gonna post it right here before my reluctance drowns it further into the abyss of oblivion. It’s like ripping off a plaster, I suppose. Post it now and then see what happens.
