Halloween Special | Werewolf!Bell/Nadia x Woods

The first Nadia x Woods piece I’m actually posting and she’s not even human in it 💀👍🏻

I didn’t finish it in time for Halloween but a day late isn’t too bad. I suppose that I’ll also tentatively consider this a very late fill for the Spooky Ops Fanweek Day 2 Prompt (Vampires/Werewolves) hosted by @ladysouthpaw1213. I didn’t set out to fill any of the prompts but realized it fit and figured I’d throw it out there for some participation…I might do another late fill for the Zombies/Ghosts prompt with an AU of Lillian in the Zombies verse with Weaver (Zombies doesn’t exist in my fanfic universe) but I’m not holding myself to that and it’s neither here nor there.

Anyways, on with some AU information since I’m incapable of doing an AU without justifying it:

In this universe, part of Bell’s brainwashing with MKUltra involved some experiments with different drugs and viruses to see if they couldn’t concoct a super soldier in the process. The end result is that Nadia (my Bell) ended up with the ability (she calls it a curse) to shapeshift into a not-quite wolf not-quite human creature (not at will, specific triggers are necessary ((often forced so she’s useful as an operative)) and the full moon will cause it anyway.) Her humanity wanes into very base level thoughts and impulses, though she’s still vaguely capable of conscious thought: she can recognize people, tell apart friend from foe, and follow commands. You know the dog from The Thing? That’s how she acts. Odd and unsettling, but she’s definitely thinking and calculating. Due to her brainwashing she believes she’s been afflicted with the condition since birth. When she discovers it was forced on her and weaponized, she becomes more difficult to control but still willing to do the right thing. Adler attempted to dispose of her like in canon once all was said and done but ultimately failed and the CIA kept her on board as their own literal attack dog.

Seeing as how Adler, Park, and Sims are all people she now considers ‘enemies’ at worst and tolerates them at best, and Lazar, Mason, Weaver, and Lillian and Claire (my other OCs) are overly cautious around her, Hudson puts her in under the command of the only person that doesn’t treat her like a wild animal and the only person she trusts: Woods. Together they form a little assassination team when it calls for it and she remains with him in their off hours. He grounds her and keeps her from ripping Adler’s head off on-sight, and she repays him for not treating her like a lab rat with complete trust and devotion.
