I have a drabble to feed the masses

It is 388 words long

It is kinda part of my idol!au, but not really. I got this idea two nights ago, and had to write it down before i forgot about it. Read all about it under the cut!!!

It probably doesn't make sense. I woke up in the middle of the night and was thinking about it to try to fall asleep.

Four members, all dudes, are hybrids, so they are not from this planet. They are from the neighboring one, and since each is from a different part, each speaks a different language, which are the diversity points. 

Oldest is James, then it's Samuel, who calls himself Sammy but tells everyone to call him Sam, then Peter, then Anthony, who is the youngest. 

I was in the middle of making Korean names for them and I made one name but I don’t remember it!! I think it was Hwang Jinsung for James I think. Yoo Seonghan for Sammy, Kang Soobin for Peter and Jung Chanseok for Anthony. 

Stage names: Jinsung makes his Hyunseok and Seonghan makes his Sanhoon, Soobin makes his Mingi and Chanseok makes his Changjoon.  IF ANYONE HAS ANY IDEA FOR BETTER NAMES, PLEASE GIVE, BECAUSE MINE ARE SUPER CRINGY. 

Jinsung is an American Eskimo, Chanseok is a hummingbird, Seonghan is a Male deer, and Soobin is a panther. Jinsung likes to keep his hair Wooyoung IOMT length, and the color of BTS DNA Jimin. 

and then there is a picture of BTS DNA era Park Jimin, which I will not add to tease you all.

Jinsung and Seonghan were born in 2008 and Soobin and Chanseok were born in 2009. Jinsung was born sometime in March, Seonghan sometime in June, Soobin in May, and Chanseok in July. 

Their concept is like Tempo by Exo at debut, and later turns into a mix of Love Shot, Movie Star by Cix and Want by Taemin. The band name is Gasoline in English and 계릴, which I’m pretty sure means nothing. 

Jinsung is the main rapper, Seonghan is the main vocalist and the main dancer, Soobin is the lead rapper and lead dancer, and Chanseok is the lead vocalist. 

Seonghan got bored during the pandemic and took to pacing and singing songs. He didn’t know if it would do anything for him; he was just bored. Eventually, it got easy, so he started doing harder and harder cardio until he auditioned sometime in 2022, when his vocal stability was pretty good. He blew the judges away and was almost immediately accepted. The other auditioners felt like he was obviously going to get in and felt silly to even try. 

Later, after Jinsung joined, they ran into Jiwon and Yujin and introduced each other. The two girls had heard that Seonghan had good vocal stability/breath control, and so asked him to sing a note, and he displayed it, and Jiwon and Yujin were surprised, too.

⁺˚⋆｡°✩₊ STARZIE is a seven-member fictional coed group that debuted on january 7th, 2024, under stellar entertainment. the coed supergroup was formed through the idol survival show "SHOOTING STARS" which premiered in 2023. the show's purpose was to gather currently active idols and put them up against each other in order to form the ultimate coed group featuring the highest-ranked idols.

the supergroup made their debut shortly into the new year with the mini album "mission one: take off" and promoted their title track "crush", as well as other b-sides from the album. their debut was garnered as both a domestic and international success, boosting STARZIE into the super rookie category very quickly despite only just debuting.

with the group being made up of some of the most popular idols from multiple generations, the public has opened their arms to the group while also throwing harsh criticism their way. many fans are excited to see their favorite idols pursue new activities and release different music alongside other highly popular idols, but due to being a coed group, the public has expressed concern over how scandals and rumors are bound to happen.

ELLIOT was a popular idol while on SHOOTING STARS, being a member of the totally spies group during the cover challenge, in which the team placed 2nd in the challenge. during the rewind challenge, elliot was a member of 3rd place team elec6ix. at the end of the show, elliot managed to finish the show in 5th place, making him the second announced member.

LET'S MAKE A TRAUMA DUMP CANDY SALAD W/ BLODFEST!

tw: this is a trauma dump thing so please read with caution! things include talks of abuse, harassment & assault, neglect, coercion, and more. please don't read if you are sensitive to these topics!

The video starts as Alex fixes the camera in front of him, sitting back and waving once he finishes. A bowl is set in the middle of the table with a bag of sweets to the side as he bows slightly in his seat.

"Hi CRWNS!" He smiles, pulling the bowl closer to him. "My name is Taejung, or most of you know me as Alex." He chuckles as he grabs the bag of candy from the side, pushing it to be seen in the camera. "I brought a bag of starbursts and when I was seven, I was in a really bad car crash with my mom. . . I barely made it out, but I watched my mum die in front of me.” He sighs as he dumps the bag of candy into the bowl. He looks up behind the camera, where shuffling noises can be heard.

“Hyung, was that before. . .” Lyon is heard trailing off. Realizing what he’s asking, Alex’s eyes widen slightly and he nods.

“Yeah, it was before that. . .” Alex mumbles, confirming what seems to be a secret between the members. He looks back at the camera, smiling slightly as he waves before he pushes the seat back and stands up. K.C. comes into view, sitting down on the chair with a bag of chocolates over his head.

“Helloooooo~” He says, putting down the candies. “I’m K.C. and when I was younger my dad forced me to live out in the streets for a week as a form of punishment.” He smiles, seeming to be unfazed by his experience.

“That’s. . . really extreme for a punishment,” Atlas comments. K.C. shrugs.

“I’ve. . .seen a lot of things. . .” He says, looking at the chocolates he has. “Oh! And I brought some Hershey's chocolate for the candy salad!” He beams before he dumps it out over the bowl. There’s a whine that comes from behind the camera as K.C. pours out the contaminants of the bag.

“Great, now I can’t eat it,” Hua complains. K.C. laughs as he gets up from the seat.

“It’s not that bad Hua, just pick around them,” K.C. advises as he moves away, being replaced by Minhyun in front of the camera. He sits down with a small smile, waving at the camera.

“Hi! My name is Minhyun and I brought some sour patch candies,” He points to the package in front of him. As he opens them, he tells his story, “When I was in school, I was pressured to make a lot of bad decisions. . . the most traumatic one was when the group I was hanging out with forced me to drink a whole bunch of alcohol. . . it was really bad. I didn’t want to do it but. . . they threatened me a lot and mocked me. So I did it just to satisfy them enough to leave me alone. But it was so much that I blacked out. I didn’t know what happened for the rest of the night but I woke up in someone’s room and. . .”

He trails off, clearing his throat as his expression turns cold. He shakes his head and pours the candy into the bowl. “I don’t want to share anymore.” He gets up from the seat, wanting to step away from the camera, but not before Lyon gives the older boy a hug. Minhyun seems to smile at the gesture, hugging him back and patting his hair before Lyon lets go to allow him to move away as Lyon moves to sit in the chair. He places a bag of gummy bears in front of the camera.

“Uhm. . .my name is Liang, or Lyon. . . I uhm. . . I brought gummy bears for the salad,” Lyon greets almost nervously. “Mine happened while I was in school too. . . In high school I was. . . uhm. . . touched. . . and assaulted inappropriately by one of my teachers. . .”

“I’m sorry, you were what?” Alex says from behind the camera, his tone angry and cold. “Did you report them?” Lyon looks up at Alex and shakes his head.

“No. . .” He mumbles. “I was. . . scared. I was scared she was going to do worse things to me, so I kept quiet. I-I didn’t even tell the person I was dating at the time. I didn’t want him to feel disgusted.” Lyon sniffles slightly, using his free hand to wipe at his small tears as he pours the bag of gummy bears into the bowl of candy.

“I should have begged my parents harder to stay in England,” The blonde says as he gets up from the seat once he’s finished. Atlas pats his shoulder as he walks by, replacing Lyon on the chair in front of the camera.

“Hiiii!” He waves cheerfully to the camera. “I’m Atlas and when I was also in high school, I had a very creepy stalker ‘admirer’,” He says, air quoting the last word. “He was. . . weird. He knew I was dating someone at the time too, but he’d leave me lots of gifts at my desk in my homeroom class and at my locker. At first I thought it was a joke, but then he’d show up to my house and leave gifts there. . . and one time he even broke into my house and left gifts in my room.” He shivers at the thoughts.

“I could see how that’s traumatizing. . .” Hua says. Atlas looks up at him.

“That’s not even the worst part,” He says.

“He did more?!” Alex asks. Atlas nods, looking down at the bowl in front of him to avoid Alex’s angry gaze.

“He uhm. . . he assaulted me one day. . . It was really scary,” He mumbles. “I couldn’t bring myself to tell anyone. . . but my friends noticed how different I became so I couldn’t keep quiet any longer.” He looks beside him at the bag of candy. “Ah I forgot. . . I brought AirHeads.” He smiles slightly, dumping the sweets into the bowl. Alex is heard sighing as Atlas gets up from the chair.

“At least you told someone eventually,” He mumbles.

“Did he get in trouble?” Heirin asks.

“I don’t know, I never found out what happened to him. He just stopped coming to school so I assumed he was expelled,” Atlas hums. Hua comes into view of the camera, sitting down and waving.

“Hello CRWNS!” He says, pushing a medium-sized bag of candy in front of the camera. “My name is Hua and I brought fruit candy. Uhh. . . many people might not see this as traumatizing? I think?” He questions before he shakes his head.

“Uhm but. . . after my father died, my mom became really depressed to the point she’d go out and leave us to go drink or gamble to stop her pain,” He says. “She’d neglect us for long periods of time and leave us to fend for ourselves. She also became pretty manipulative and gaslit us alot and stole our money.”

“My god, what is with bad parents these days?” Alex says, irritated. Hua shrugs.

“Recently she called me and tried to tell me that my sister was sick to get me to send more money to her,” Hua says. “And uhm. . . I kinda should have known it was her being manipulative but I had no clue if my sister was actually sick or not, so. . .” He trails off.

“So you sent it to her, didn’t you?” Lyon says. Hua is silent, but he nods before he pours the fruit candy into the bowl. Once he’s finished, he waves to the camera again before he pushes the seat back and stands up. Heirin walks over into view and sits down on the chair. He holds a box of pockys.

"I'm Heirin and I brought pockys!" The youngest smiles.

"Rinny, that's not candy," K.C. says. Heirin pouts, looking over at K.C. behind the camera.

"Give me a break, it's all I had," Heirin says, opening the box. "But anyways. . . A few years ago, I was in a pretty toxic relationship. He was. . . pretty abusive, both physically and verbally. He drained me a lot." He hums as he dumps the snacks into the bowl.

"I'm so glad he's gone now," Alex comments. Heirin laughs bitterly.

"Yeah. . . me too," He says, as all the members come into veiw. They all wave to the camera before Alex reaches over to turn off the camera.

1NSOMNIA

As many of you know, 1nsomnia was formed as a temporary project, through the survival show Chasing Dreams (이게 우리 꿈이야). We are incredibly grateful for the dedication and hard work of all the members, who brought their unique talents and personalities to the group. However, as the project was always intended to be temporary, the members have now returned to their respective agencies. With the majority of the members returning to their original companies (Minks and Hyunwoo to Woollim, Imsan to Yuehua, and Ryder to Bluis Ent), it became inevitable to terminate 1nsomnia's contracts. We wish all the members the very best in their future endeavors and hope that you will continue to support them in their individual careers. Thank you for your incredible support of 1nsomnia. “You’ve finally fallen asleep, you no longer have insomnia. See us in your dreams. This was 1nsomnia.”

MIDNIGHT - @kaasism-midnight

We know the creative differences that came between Midnight and the sub-agency, leading to a disconnection in their musical direction. We sincerely apologize for the frustration this caused. We are also deeply concerned about Jori's health and are providing him with the necessary support and care. Midnight is currently working on and completing their new comeback as seven, and we are committed to working with the members to determine a path forward that prioritizes their well-being and creative vision.

MOON

It is with heavy hearts that we officially announce the disbandment of Moon as they’ve decided this was right after embarking on their solo careers and being inactive as a group for 11 months. This decision was reached after careful consideration and discussions with the members. We understand that this news will come as a disappointment to many, and we want to express our sincere gratitude for the unwavering support you have shown Moon throughout their journey. We are incredibly proud of the talent, dedication, and passion that each member brought to the group. We wish them all the best in their future endeavors. We will always cherish the memories and achievements of Moon, and we hope that you will continue to support the members as they embark on new chapters in their lives.

We understand the excitement surrounding the potential collaboration between 1nsomnia and Midnight. However, due to the circumstances surrounding both groups, (1nsomnia being disbanded obviously removing 6 of the members, Midnight’s hiatus) the project has been put on an indefinite hiatus. We are exploring alternative avenues to bring this project to fruition in the future.
