hello!! here are some facts about my queer ocs!!

izel, one of my sweet cobra kai ocs, has been training in folklorico - Mexican folk dance - almost her entire life. she started when she was just 5 years old!! growing up in Mexico city, she was surrounded by so much rich culture; she so was fascinated with the gorgeous dresses and beautiful makeup the girls get to wear; she just wanted in. her first girlfriend was a dancer as well!! their break up lead to a big shake up in their dance company though... whoops!

karver, one of my lovely btrtv ocs, grew up surrounded by the lgbtq+ community in new york city! his uncles were a huge influence in helping him discover his identity - taking him to poc/queer events and celebrations all around the city as a pre/teen and were extremely influential in helping karver discover his identity as a queer Black man

dani, btrtv background oc, learned just how tightly queerness and punk are intertwined after meeting (yet another btrtv oc) mag and forming a band with him and roxy! they loved the idea of pushing back against traditional norms and through performing at as many underground shows as they could met so many interesting people from all walks of life. it was at one of these shows dani learned the term "non-binary." it stuck in their head for ages, it just sounded right for how they perceived themself, but they weren't sure if they were okay with such a label since it kind of goes against their punkness. after talking it over with mag, roxy, and other folks who identified similarly, they felt confident enough to come out and embrace the term wholeheartedly!

victory (vic) reyes (whooo i think i'm deciding is another ck oc? god knows) wants to be a sports journalist when she grows up, alongside her sister, nikita, who wants to be a sports photographer!! when nikita finds herself in love with a guy in a relationship, they hatch a plan to get him to break up with his girlfriend... except vic ends up getting a little too close with her in the process, realizing something new about herself along the way! 🌈

that is sooo much omg but i'm always happy to yap about my ocs! so excited to read about everyone else's <3 happy pride!!
