Daisy Bennett, she/her, OC ship, Mia McKenna Bruce FC.
Daisy is a lively 1920s flapper ghost who still lingers in Button House, forever caught between laughter and something a little more fragile beneath it. At just seventeen, she died during a secret late-night party in the house’s ballroom - her weak heart giving out in the middle of the music, the dancing, and the thrill of finally feeling free. Because of that, she now haunts the ballroom and music room, drawn to open spaces where she can still move, spin, and pretend the night never ended.
In death, Daisy carries the echo of that final party with her. When her emotions rise - whether joy, nerves, or hidden sadness - the air fills with faint 1920s jazz: distant horns, soft piano, the ghost of laughter. Lights flicker in rhythm, curtains sway like dancers, and for a moment, the house feels alive again. It’s beautiful, a little eerie, and unmistakably Daisy - like a celebration that never quite learned how to end.
Jamie Calder, he/him, OC ship, Charlie Gillespie FC.
Jamie is a seventeen year-old ghost from the late 1990s who haunts the upper floors and attic spaces of Button House, rarely straying far from where he died. He and his friends had snuck in to film a “haunted house” prank video, but Jamie fell through a rotten floorboard and was left behind - his story unfinished, his existence almost entirely unrecorded.
Now, his presence lingers through the technology he once relied on to be seen. When his emotions spike - especially nerves or excitement - radios crackle, TVs glitch, and old cassette players warp and rewind. It’s chaotic, unpredictable, and very him: a constant interruption, like he’s still trying to prove he’s there. Beneath the jokes and bravado, Jamie carries a quiet fear of being forgotten, making every connection he forms - especially with Daisy - feel all the more important.
