Potion: do you have a ‘party trick’? (Tess)

Tess exchanged a look with her husband, eyes brimful of laughter. “Well, I don’t know that you’d call it a party trick, but there is something I do when I’m not happy with someone.” The incipient grim broke through. “I wasn’t even aware that I was doing it at first, but I was giving them a case of static sparks. Worse than if they’d been dressed in wool, on a wool carpet in the dead of winter!” Ethan shook his head, trying to look annoyed. “The first time we argued, she damned near electrocuted me!” Tess giggled. “I did not! Static isn’t anywhere near strong enough to electrocute anyone! And, in my defense, I didn’t realize I was doing it.” Ethan finally smiled. “Gives the saying ‘happy wife, happy life’ entirely new depth!”
