it's my birthday so i've gone back to my roots with this one. hera definitely used to be on deviantART and drew beautiful emo mary sue ocs that they shipped with the rowdyruff boys (and the powerpunk girls too ooo....)

drawing in the powerpuff style is so fun maybe i'll do it more often. i remember drawing them in ms paint with the curve tool and spray paint back in the day. shout out to the likes of jerimin19 (may she rest in peace), norphy and ippg (among others) for being huge inspirations back then

I drew my monster squad using this photo of Markiplier and co. as base!

I was inspired by this post , but I drew over the original picture instead of using the base ;)

From top to bottom we have Soda, Taraya, Luna, Hera, Nanai and Rust :)

last spring i became so inspired by loving vincent (2017) that i wanted to make a short animated film with oil pastels... it didn't quite happen, but one can dream. (2025)

the idea was that making art, characters and stories helps this lil star dude discover who they are. it's quite on the nose, but i thought it was fun anyway. i might give it another shot someday, redraw everything in a way that i like, NOT forget to give the angels their bushes... they must be so cold...

i did make a really sketchy storyboard for it. if i find it i'll add it as a reblog probably. i also added some oil pastel sketchbook art here for fun just to see what it COULD'VE looked like, kinda.
