ok so lets....just go down the list 

aries - Keeper of the Dragonlands

taurus - Guardian of Music

gemini - ruler(s) of the Siren Isles

cancer - Empress of the Seas

leo - (tentatively) Chief inventor of the Floating City

virgo - Empress of Victoria (the main continental area, where humans live). The capitol is Skyren

libra - Queen of the Spirits

scorpio - (tentatively) Keeper of Witchcraft (rules over those who practice dark magics)

sagittarius - leader of the traveling troupe (similar to an entertainer’s guild, and is the only elected zodiac leader in which the troupe comes together every five years to vote on a new sagittarius in a pretty elaborate ritual). The guild also allows members from every kingdom, but they originate from a forest deep in Victoria where all troupe members gather during the voting ceremony. It’s like... you basically get honorary citizenship. The official lands of the traveling troupe is actually just that ritual ground in the forest, which is kept by the elected sagittarius. When they step up to be sagittarius, their name becomes “Joe Sagittarius” (provided they were “Joe Smith” previously). That’s how they’d be addressed. All of the zodiacs are addressed in that manner.

capricorn - King of the Elves

aquarius - King of the Fairies (which is different from elves shhh the elves have minimal elemental magic while fairies have their own brand of air-based magic)

pisces - ruler(s) of the Rivers

Collectively they’re known as the Pantheon of Zodiacs (obviously). Each of them has a necklace that corresponds with the symbol of their zodiac, and all of them are basically immortal, although people do come and go (every like couple hundred years or whatever, at least). Some retire, others get killed in wars and other crises. The Pantheon convenes each year on New Year’s Eve (which they celebrate the day before spring, which is the day before Ares ascends). Each month, one of the zodiacs becomes ‘ascended’ which means they gain extra power for that month. This corresponds with like their whole gig like in the real world lore or whatever for zodiacs. When they ascend their existing powers become enhanced and they must travel the lands to keep peace (it’s like,,, taking turns on guard duty). This also leaves their own kingdoms vulnerable (although the Pantheon has come to an agreement to defend one anothers’ kingdoms in times of need and have reserve armies and shit put aside for emergencies).

The youngest leaders (physically) are Gemini and Pisces, although ironically, Pisces was in power the longest. Sagittarius has been the youngest leader ever since the founding of the traveling troupe pretty much, so yeah there’s that. The first Sagittarius was a different guy though

but then that’s why aries is the guardian. Aries isn’t actually a dragon from the dragonlands, but was chosen from one of the other kingdoms (always a shepherd). This is because the dragons once almost like torched the whole fucking continent in an attempt to take over, and it took the powers of all 12 zodiacs to stop them. In the end, the dragons killed Aries and destroyed the old Aries’ land (the land of the satyrs), so the new Aries became the Keeper and holds ultimate power over the dragons (although obviously, there were dragons who disagree, so Aries is always stressed out).

there’s also like a celestial plane but i’ll get into that later bc it has to do with dreams and shit (like the collective ‘religion’ it’s actually real in that world has to do with dreams and sleep) but yeah

apparently gemini’s colors are yellow and green or smth (probably like summer colors or some bs like that) and im so sad bc i just.... i love the whole red and blue thing so fuckin much like tw i n s are two d i f f e r e n t colors fuck anyways they’re at least still gonna have the whole black and white thing although i might like change a few things around where one twin is primarily yellow the other is green and one of them wears black while the other wears white

also im designing aquarius rn and the colors are silver and light blue which totally works bc Winter Theme

all of their clothing styles are also like based off of the weather of the time of year i guess??? gemini has like early summer clothes, aquarius has like late winter clothes, etc

Like ‘breath’ i guess in mandarin? my association was always that like,, your breath is your soul sorta, thats why you have like people breathing that shit in and out and whatnot that’s always made sense to me for some reason as someone who speaks mandarin. Like qi  in mandarin can be like that spiritual shit, our breaths, or air. Hence, libra is a spirit.

It also makes sense bc like spiritual balance and shit like that

there’s two main continent areas--one is wooded, the other is highly technologically advanced

there is magic in the world, which is balanaced by the technology also present in the world

there are four floating islands on which the technologically advanced people live (borrowing from sky pillars dont mind meeee its the club that my two cyborg ocs are from so)

and then there are like

like wooded places are where the elves live

Four months later

Tanto había ocurrido en los últimos cuatro meses que nada le parecía real. Sentado frente a ella se encontraba Travis Soffer, el chico que había sido elegido el nuevo secretario de Nicole. Ella no sólo quería que la imagen de la OCEU cambiara en exceso, pero también los problemas que tenía un pequeño sector en cuanto a los trabajos que podían hacer, o no, ambos géneros. Y, por ello, Nicole decidió darle ese puesto a alguien del sexo contrario; para dar ejemplo.

Pero aquél fue, realmente, el menor de sus problemas. Cuatro meses antes, después de reunirse con la ONU y las demás Organizaciones de Cazadores mundiales, que todo había cambiado. Las Organizaciones de Cazadores ahora compartían una alianza común que era prácticamente inquebrantable. Trabajaban juntas para mantener la seguridad y mejorar el bienestar de la humanidad. Ambos eran retos muy difíciles que todas las organizaciones habían acatado sin oponerse, pues el castigo para una organización que se negara a cumplir dichas reglas o leyes sería ser automáticamente expulsada de la Alianza y se le cortarían suministros del tipo B, que generalmente eran suministros de armas y objetos variados de protección, mientras que los suministros básicos se irían retirando de forma gradual hasta que dicha organización fuera capaz de sostenerse por ella misma. Esa había sido una medida que sólo Las Cinco habían aprobado. Estados Unidos, Irlanda, España, Italia y Holanda eran los miembros permanentes que tenían más voz y voto que ningún otro en la Alianza de Cazadores, y fue por ello que dichas reglas se hicieron, automáticamente, irrefutables.

Después de sellar la Alianza, la OCEU y Nicole se habían visto comprometidas con el que había sido elegido nuevo presidente, Robert Graham. Él había sido víctima de lo sobrenatural antes de ser elegido, con lo cual, una gran parte de su campaña se basó en el descubrimiento de lo sobrenatural y la protección tanto de él como la de los demás. Y fue mediante Alan Foster, el nuevo Embajador Estadounidense de la ONU que Robert y Nicole se conocieron. Y fue tras varias reuniones y debates secretos  que la OCEU y el Gobierno central cerraron una alianza de forma igual. La OCEU se comprometía a proteger, así como a enseñar a los civiles cómo exorcizar demonios y como expulsar a cualquier otro ser sobrenatural que los molestara (haciendo punible el hecho de matarlo) a cambio de que el Gobierno lavara su imagen, haciéndolos así “especiales” a los ojos de los civiles -ya que era importante que estos se sintieran cómodos con su presencia-, así como entregarle dos bases (más pequeñas que la OCEU) en otros dos estados para poder, así, hacer que el trabajo de los cazadores de la OCEU fuera más fácil. Y como último añadido, el Gob. también se comprometió con la entrega mensual de armamento y otros materiales que harían posible la mejora de la seguridad nacional.

Mirara por donde lo mirara Nicole, la OCEU había ganado bastante con esa alianza. En un principio no quiso hacerlo, ya que pensó que no haría más que besarle el trasero al nuevo presidente, pero Robert era distinto. Él parecía estar al tanto y de haberse informado de absolutamente de todo, y su deseo por no volver a caer en las redes del Mal era lo que había terminado de convencer a la cazadora.

Volviendo a su despacho, la General charlaba con Travis. Éste le había informado, así como Campbell ya había hecho el día anterior, de que los documentos que ella necesitaba ya habían sido entregados. Además, le informaba de una reunión que tendría con los miembros de Las Cinco en dos semanas, así como de un meeting con el presidente que seguramente terminaría siendo emitido por televisión, algo que no agradaba demasiado a Nicole. Ella había sido feliz con el anonimato y el cambio actual le desagradaba de forma notable. Estaba entusiasmada por la cooperación que tan bien había sido llevada a cabo tanto por el Gob. como por la misma OCEU, pero Robert Graham era un hombre moderno; era un hombre que se tornaba tremendamente fastidioso en cuanto a lo de “lavar la imagen de la OCEU” se refería. Nicole lo había querido, pero habían acordado que Graham la guiaría y ella no rechistaría. Y así se encontraba ahora, haciendo muecas de asco y poniendo los ojos en blanco después de que Travis le enseñara el último fax proveniente de la Casa Blanca.

- Tiene tal fijación con la prensa que creo que es algo que no llegaré a entender nunca, -dijo la cazadora. Apoyó la espalda contra el espaldar de su silla de escritorio y se llevó ambas manos a la cara, lo que claramente mostraba su exasperación. Prosiguió hablando mientras se tapaba su ojo izquierdo y miraba a Travis con el derecho por entre sus dedos índice y anular.- ¿No podemos decirle que tengo la gripe o algo así? Su gabinete me obliga a ponerme vestidos cursis con faldas largas que son incómodos, y maquillaje todavía más cursi, y… las cámaras me distraen. Me distraigo, y mis discursos terminan siendo horribles. Di que declino la oferta.

Travis no hizo más que reír, puesto que aquella queja y esos mismos elementos habían sido objeto de burla, conversación y súplica en más de una, dos e incluso tres y cuatro ocasiones.

- Ya hemos debatido sobre esto unas cuantas veces, Señora. –dijo Travis mientras se aseguraba de que Nicole tenía el fax, un bolígrafo y una libreta bien a mano.-

El amargo suspiro de Nicole fue prolongado por la misma durante casi diez segundos. Nicole terminó por toser, ya que se había quedado con la boca seca y todo aquél dramatismo ya había dejado de ser divertido. - Está bien, Travis. -concluyó. Y es que, a pesar de querer estar preparada, no lo estaba. Le asqueaba que la OCEU hubiera sido expuesta por unas informaciones salidas de la boca del Presidente, pero aquello ya había quedado en el pasado y ahora debía trabajarlo de la mejor manera posible.

Hello hello... from the Oceu.

Yes, folks. I'm staying at the Oceu until baby Robyn is born. Rick (the hubs) almost "forced" me to leave Colorado two days ago (yes, this is my first Tumblr post since then, so what? Haven't had time. --That's clearly a lie. I've been at the hospital since then). We haven't seen an OB since the fourth month of my pregnancy and we were kinda worried. Today I hit the 37w mark and Rick knew that, so he sent me here so I could see a doc and could have Robyn in the safety of this place. BUT I'm all alone. He stays in CO with the kids (and what we call "The X-men"), so this new situation kinda sucks. I just want him on my side while giving birth...

We planned a water birth so our other kids could see their new sister come to this World, but I guess you can't have it all, right? *sigh*. Robyn appears to be nervous and playful this week and I've had contractions. The BH are history! The ones I keep having are a pain in the a** (like, literally). Saw the doctor yesterday and she said she expects Robyn to make her entrance into this World this week or next. That's good, right? Let's hope she's super healthy and doesn't have complications after the birth so we both can get back "home" soon. Rick and the kids are excited.

And... that's pretty much all. Lizzie, Zane and Mike (he brought me here) are with me, that's something -I mean, I know them. There's a bunch of soldiers and the security in this place is insane (INSAANEEE!). Though, the power has been on-and-off this morning. This Oceu is definitely not perfect. Thanks to Steve Jobs and Verizon for creating the iPhone and the Verizon company, so I can have some entertainment.
