Baldfaced Agentta Hawk

A muscular but unintelligent, dull-brown bird, who preys upon Sugarbears, Nectarine Pheasants, and Red and Green Parakeets, as well as smaller insects. They are a solitary species, and only lay 1-2 eggs. They stand 4 feet at the head, and are generally heavy birds. The feathers on the head are a shorter, dark brown color, with a tuft of peach at the back of the skull. The wings give the ability to glide, but not to fly. These birds do not make nests, and instead lay their, brightly speckled eggs on flat surfaces. They are fairly aggressive, and particularly territorial. The taste is comparable to that of snake, and is gristly.

Longbear

Longbear ➥ F. F. Ursa

The largest mammal on the table, the Longbear, despite its name, is a long=bodied feline with wide shoulders and narrow hips, recognizable by the dark stripes on his rump, similar to the now extinct Tasmanian Tiger. They require large, forested areas to inhabit and are fiercely territorial. They have four toes per foot, in addition to a flexible dew claw, of which the claws are non retractable. They weigh, on average, 525 Kg. They usually reach lengths of 600 centimeters. They stand on their hindlegs to display dominance, and often avoid human contact. The mouth is small in comparison to the skull, which is square and cubic. The Longbear’s teeth are stout and sharp, but relatively short. It is purely carnivorous, and while not particularly aggressive toward humans and other Longbear, when approached, it will fight vigorously. It is solitary and the offspring, most often only one, stay with the mother for only 6 months. During that time, the female is extremely protective. It's an opportunistic hunter, targeting sick or elderly prey, and are ambush predators.

Longbeaked Nectarine Pheasant

Busy-Nectar Birds ➥ P. Nect

A fat little bird, about the size of a small, domestic chicken. The females are white, with black primaries, coverts, alula, and marginal coverts. The rest of the wing is rough in texture and white, with long, thin feathers that stick out at odd angles. The male has similar but shorter black coloration, and is a much brighter, almost squash yellow. The male has eyed plumage on the underside of his tail, and a darker, slightly shorter beak. They feed on insects, primarily the butterflies who inhabit their flowers of choice, Grumbacher and Rachen. They drink nectar, hence their name. They are generally altruistic birds, and will nurse the offspring of other pairs, or form small ‘family’ groups of unrelated birds. They are soft to the touch and unafraid of people. Often, they will chase each other around in a playful manner, or other wild animals. 

Pairs mate for life. In the autumn, males put on loud, impressive displays, in which they flip their tails over their heads and dance. The calls are short and shrill, akin to a chipmunk chirp. The nests, made in the winter, are dugout holes in the forest floor, often in the roots of large trees, in close proximity to patches of the flowers they feed upon. The insides are lined with grass, animal fur, and discarded human trash, and the clutches are 4-5 eggs total. In the summer, they are arboreal, and rarely leave the canopy. The taste is similar to fatty beef.
