The second crochet piece I ever made. Took me about 2.5 hours to finish. I got into crochet because of a project I am currently doing on the topic of failure. I deliberately chose a medium I have practically no experience in and just started working without watching any tutorials. Exploring failure as a queer (artistic and political) practice has already made me learn a load of new things. I am excited to see where this project leads me to next.

We complimented each other’s outfits, talked movies, music and Ben Affleck. Then Oddkin performed and they were absolutely incredible, such a powerful intimate gig like no other
Thinking about that girl at the Sons Of An Illustrious Father (now known as Oddkin) show I was at in London in December 2018 who screamed “I WANT YOU TO KICK ME IN THE FACE” at Ezra Miller, I hope she’s having a good day
