A short odysseus x tiresias story I made

(For context This is based off of a headcanon someone in a discord server I'm in came up with where tiresias acts mysterious when he wants to impress someone)

*tiresias hermes and polites sit in a circle playing Uno*

hermes: alright it's your turn polites

polites: i... still don't understand this game

tiresias: hm hermes has a draw 4

hermes: tiresias! what did I say about using your future vision to cheat

*tiresias suddenly stands up*

tiresias: odysseus is about to arrive I must go

polites: oh alright then!

tiresias: *talking to himself* hmm what's the best way to get him to like me oh I know people like it when people are mysterious right? that'll work alright I must go now

polites: wait! tiresias I don't know if that's a good-

*tiresias walks off*

polites: idea... oh boy this isn't gonna go well is it

hermes: definitely not

tiresias: ..... I don't think he likes me

hermes: unfortunately I have to agree

tiresias: i was sure people like it when someones mysterious though maybe that's in the future

polites: maybe but also I don't think anyone would like it if you insinuated they were gonna die and never make it back home and that their wife is gonna be with someone else
