Among demons is so good! I love your writing style, you do the horror perfectly. And the potential for angst is. enormous. I just love the idea of the demons seeing MC as the most important person in their lives, trying to spoil and cherish them while MC is terrified out of their mind and can't really express it. And the miscommunication. The demon bros wondering why MC is so scared of them, while they're torturing people in front of them and MC is just wondering if they're next but can't ask

Awhhhhhh, it's so sweet to hear that!! I like my writing style and I've been trying a lot lately to edit a bit, to get things to sound juuuust right, and this makes me feel like my efforts are noticed eyy :D THE ANGST,, that's what it's FOR bro,,, when I came across the plot point of Lucifer taking away MC's ability to speak - as a natural defense against them using the pacts against the demons - I totally hit yandere gold, like. I prefer softer yanderes, with more minimal graphic violence perpetrated towards the reader; one where the horror and darkfic stuff comes from the psychological aspect of things. The innate anxiety and frustration and utter helplessness of it all,,, not only do you not know answers to your questions, but you can't even ask the questions, you can't tell whether they would even want to answer,,,,, delicious This sort of torture is so normal to the demon bros, it's so regular, such a casual part of their lives that they don't necessarily think much of you catching bits and pieces of it. Ofc they had to hide it during the exchange program - but the exchange program was about Diavolo and his dumb, overzealous nonsense. They're so used to you, and so used to this, and so used to living with you, they just don't think about it twice. Of course they would never hurt you, there's no reason you would even want to ask a question like that, so why should they say it? Now, I want to be kinda realistic about it. So they will eventually put two and two together (some of them already have, but aren't saying anything because they're manipulative bastards). But uhm. Their idea of fixing the problem... it's not "let's stop torturing people where you can hear/see", I'll put it like that adjglk;hkj ANYWAYS IF I spent as much time actually writing it as I spent talking about writing it here and now, I'd probably have another one posted by now XD I do have another WiP or two I'm hoping to publish on here maybe in the meantime but!! Hope I get one out to you guys soon~
