I want the batter to like. Look at Ballman and just. Do the Batter equivalent of the cat thing where they puff up because Don’t Like That. Like he’s found his ugly doppelgänger/the thing he was based off and it makes him Upsetti Spaghetti….

Idk I just think the batter fucking hating Ballman despite the fact that he was literally made and based off of him would be hilarious

Hmm that is a very interesting question! It was a fun exercise of imagination... i think the whole chapter serves as a parallel to how Hugo feels, overwhelmed by his father's presence, searching for the loving touch of his mother, a feminine figure, only for his story to be ended shortly, deemed unimportant by the batter, much like what sadly happened...very interesting part of the game.

OFFtober 2022 day 26 – Panic in Ballville

When I played the game, I legitimately thought I have to kill ALL of them and sat there for way too long before I tried seeing what happens if I DON'T attack them and realized they were infinite XD

the text: Ballman: "I filled Ballville with clones of my evil self, there is no way to stop us now, Boxxer!" Some time later Ballman: "What's taking him so long?" Boxxer: trying to beat all the clones without realizing they're infinite Ballman: "Is he really THAT stupid?"
