JETHRO!! My old hard to draw favorite
Jet, Jeth, Jethro, meanie, jerk, I'm reporting you, ...etc
The first character to be created not specifically for this story (he was originally an animal crossing oc) who's personality was based off of a silly crush at first and then morphed into something else entirely.
This socially inept cat man is notoriously bad at small talk and would much rather spend his time going to work, not talking to anyone, getting paid, and going home. What he does at home is anyone's guess.
He usually does custodial work around the store where everything takes place and is the one to first notice when the Ghost Programs start getting out of control in the PC-Platina.
Jet tends to ignore all customer service responsibilities but can be pretty quick with snide remarks if pestered too much. To his friends though, Jethro laughs super loud, jokes about utter nonsense a lot, and is very easy to fluster when you get in their personal space. In the end, he's very awkwardly fun to be around, when he lets you be around him.
It doesnt look like I got very far with Wallace, only one pose done but all his face parts are there. He's the only one that doesnt have an ear alt pose- maybe having them more fanned out should work.
There is a single frame drawn of his second pose but I think I'll redo it
He and Lorelai also need to have the full art made to match Jethro and Reine:
Wallace is a lot more reserved in emotional presentation mostly due to being loyal to the PC-Platina administrator program... or well, more controlled by it. But I think that'd fit more later. He's definitely the most level-headed out of the main cast, even though you would think Lorelai would be. But she borders a little into perfectionist in a negative sense.
HUZZAH!
Little sprite cycles of Reine from the Off the Counter project
Since she’s a lot less reserved, her expressions were really fun to come up with
We’ve got 2 more main characters left until I can finally switch gears to the more multimedia aspect of the episode
I’m thinking the manager (whose like a glitchy goopy pile of twisted arms) would be really cool as stop motion... maybe a mix of clay and paint)
Little sprite cycles of Jethro from the Off the Counter project
- a series of short multimedia animations that definitely have a plotline
His ears, eyes, and mouth are all separate sprites so they’re cycling through at different rates. There’s 4 other main characters left in the roster (though only 3 are needed for the first episode)
PHEW
My gosh- for some reason Loreali was extremely hard to get right, from her poses to her stylization. I changed her from a wolf to a deer, it seemed to fit her persona and role within the story.
One last character left for episode 1, but I’m going to switch gears to working on the other assets along with the actual episode boarding.
I’m really excited to tell you guys about it as it continues :D
