OKAY SO i know i already got Mod Kiibo to write this prompt, and it was WONDERFULLY MADE no questions asked, but i would love to make my own version ogm,,,,,
this takes place in a medieval-fantasy-monarchy world, and the earth is slowly deteriorating. this was due to the fact that dragons and forest spirits had powered magic into the earth, it was their purpose.
but forest spirits were being shunned as evil and cruel-- a rumor grew that they’d take your soul and trap it inside their forests. it was claimed that only a select few forests were safe for passing, in which forests were too poor for spirits or any creatures to live in, and were mildly toxic to any peoples that didn’t have any tolerance to poisons.
and dragons-- well, they’re almost extinct. having a dragon’s horns/skin/tail/eyes/anything was like a royal privilege and showed that you were powerful in both money and social/industrial influence. so dragons were not only commonly sought out for befriending(for dragon tamers/animal whisperers), but for their physical traits.
despite their importance to the environment, they were ignored and hunted down and no one paid any mind to the harmful information spreading around the countries.
however, Hajime Hinata, one of the many few Dragon Tamers left in the world, traveling with his growing dragon, Klik, had ignored the rumors and ran into a mischievous forest spirit. the both had become well acquainted, and the said forest spirit had asked if they could tag along on Hajime’s journey.
his journey to restore the earth back to it’s original state: flourishing with herbs and plants everywhere--not just certain lands with good soil. Hajime disguises his spirit friend into a pixie, and they’re on their quest to save dragons and band together more spirits to heal the world.
and stop the organization causing the world such grave despair..?
