"Oh, Anne Boleyn, we’re really in it now."
a day of internship at the bank made me wonder how nanami and gojo ( I'm a big sucker for nanago ) would decorate their office cubicles so here we go
**nanami and gojo have a shared space but they have their own separate cubicles
nanami kento
• bread related merch everywhere. he has a bread cushion, bread stickers ( a female coworker gave them to him and it wasn't his style but he still used them anyway ), bread figurine he puts on his divider to recognise his cubicle. also a bread tie.
• also a voucher to his favourite bakery ( given to him by his favourite intern, itadori yuuji ) and a coupon to redeem a free croquette bread ( from infernal annoyance gojo satoru ) pinned up on the wall in front of him
• a photograph of him with the interns and his dept colleagues ( megumi, yuuji, nobara, innumaki, maki, ichiji and gojo ) held up with a ( you guessed it ) bread pin !!
• overnight bag in the drawer with toiletries in his own cubicle ( also with spares for gojo because that man doesn't mind " marinating myself ( himself ) in my sweat !! its what makes me look sexy ~~ " but nanami finds it gross )
• bread hook for his house keys and employee card
• tons of snacks and candies he knows the interns like. yuuji likes coming over to take some of the candies and occasionally megumi sneaks over to get some and nanami doesn't mind at all.
• the snacks are the fancy expensive kinds he spent money on but gojo, being infernally infuriating takes them as he pleases ( he doesn't really mind even though he complains; gojo does look cute eating his snacks )
• also has a mini fridge which contains wine, vodka, mango passion fruit beer ( because that shit is refreshing ), and he drinks occasionally when the stress gets to be too much. He also has a mug for that occasion - it has the words " WORLDS BEST DADDY " on them. gojo gave it to him. When he sees it he gets a worse headache and he drinks more.
• overall his cubicle would be neat, tidy and organized - he got organisers from Muji for his stationery and his papers
gojo satoru
• let's be real, he probably has a huge ass photo of himself right smack in the middle of the wall in front of him so he can admire himself all hours of the day
• has tiny photos of the interns - numerous photos with a very done looking megumi and excited yuuji
• also pinned up every single confession he got from anonymous admirers in the office
• also has a cutout of a photo of nanami, piss drunk at a company function kissing him on the cheek, photo credits to suguru and his demon of a boyfriend, mahito ( nanami claims he hates it but gojo once saw him straighten the cutout when it fell over )
• keeps rock candy and lollies because he likes "sucking on things" ( his words to nanami ) when he's looking through boring reports, or doing the boring work
• also has an assortment of disgusting flavoured candy he keeps making the interns and nanami try
gojo : nanamin ~~~ this is something so disgusting I got it but I want you to try it for me first ~~~~~
nanami : if it's disgusting why did you get it
nanami eats it anyway. so does yuuji. megumi doesn't give a shit.
• vanilla scented perfume because he read from somewhere it makes guys attracted to you and he thinks his ✨wily charms✨ work on nanami better with the perfume ( it does not )
• a plushie that nanami got which he uses as a backrest - it reminded him of gojo ( it's a fluffy white cat plush with sunglasses !!! gojo cat !!!! )
• handwarmer he " borrowed " ( sneakily stole ) from nanami, he's had it for 6 months now and nanami doesn't care. ( it's bread shaped )
• tub of gel + hairspray for when there's emergency meetings
• his table is neat, but is a mess at the same time ?? like there's random things everywhere but it's the Gojo charm, he makes it look aesthetic
also they're convinced they're sneaky about their relationship because " we argue so much nanamin ~~ you're so mean to me no one will think we're dating :(((( " but every single person knows
I need music/podcast recommendations! Also say hello to my new selfie spot, living that cubicle life ✌🏻
Shop a huge selection of office partitions to create effective work environments, reception areas, and private work area
Fanart for @danvariano of his OCs Business Poodle and Fawkes. This was probably a mismatched shipping idea spurred from overthinking gone astray(plus Fawkes got into an office building with his torn/raggedy clothes..!?! And got kissed MULTIPLE times despite CLEARLY being a rather dirty/mangy fellow?!?....) but I still thought it’d be a cute idea regardless!

Offices and tiny apartments could be transformed by the work of Boston University researchers, who recently unveiled an “acoustic metamaterial” that blocks all sound.
Dubbed an “acoustic meta-material,” the ring was printed from a mathematically modeled design, shaped in such a way that it can catch certain frequencies passing through the air and reflect them back toward their source. Typical acoustic paneling works differently, absorbing sound and turning the vibrations into heat. But what’s particularly trippy is that this muffler is completely open. Air and light can travel through it–just sound cannot.
The implications for architecture and interior design are remarkable, because these metamaterials could be applied to the built environment in many different ways. For instance, they could be stacked to build soundproof yet transparent walls. Cubicles will never be the same.
The researchers also believe that HVAC systems could be fitted with these silencers, and drones could have their turbines muted with such rings. Even in MRI machines, which can be harrowingly loud for patients trapped in a small space, could be quieted. There’s really no limit to the possibilities, but it does sound like these silencers will need to be tailored to circumstance. “The idea is that we can now mathematically design an object that can blocks the sounds of anything,” says Boston University professor Xin Zhang, in a press release.
