You've adopted Gojo a while back, long enough to know about how clingy and easily attached he can get. If you weren’t constantly in contact or touching, he’d get all whiney. His pure white ears would flatten against his head, bright blue eyes pleading with yours.
You swear he must know what that look does to you and uses it for his advantage. That manipulative cat.
Even when you have your hands full, he’d stay close, a fluffy tail curled softly around your waist, keeping you warm. It’s nice when you’re cold, but not really when the room turns all stuffy and hot.
By now, you’re pretty aware of how possessive and territorial Gojo can be, not even allowing you to pet outside cats. He’d smell it on you, hissing, saying ‘you have one at home’, then proceed to call you a ‘cheater’.
That only intensified tenfold when you added Geto – a black hybrid cat – to the equation.
jealous of cat gojo
suguru prided himself on being a secure person—sure, there were times where his self-assurance would wane but through your gentle reassurance he got over his once frequent fit of jealousy.
and yet it never occurred to suguru that one day he'd be competing for your attention, never mind the fact that he'd be competing with his very own cat. that smug little thing.
he could still remember the day you met the furball. you walked in with such caution stamped into your stride, eyes taking in the decorations of his clean apartment as you were led to his bedroom.
you place yourself near the corner of his bed watching suguru rummage through his wardrobe to find something comfortable for you to sleep in. he was completely oblivious to the feral anxiety clawing up your throat. what if satoru doesnt like you?
there was just something about a cat's intuition, blessed with the ability to read a person's character like six eyes intensely inspecting every aspect of one's soul—or perhaps you were just being overly superstitious. nonetheless you needed to impress that cat.
suguru interrupts your thoughts as he planted a pair of sweats and a hoodie for you to sleep in, then escaping to the kitchen to prepare snacks for your movie marathon.
it was at this exact moment that suguru should've known what the universe had in store for him. there goes a ball of white fluff in the direction of his bedroom. satoru was on a mission to investigate the new scent, a rare thing he had the opportunity of doing because his owner was rather… antisocial.
satoru trots into the bedroom a blue castle-like structure comes into view and beside it was the guest inspecting his scratching post. he stands by the door, blue eyes narrowing in on the guest.
satoru’s tail curls in fascination, blue eyes narrowing as he inches closer to you. now if satoru had been a normal cat he would have simply lost interest in the second human being in this apartment or maybe hiss at you, but no satoru charges at top speed bumping into your calf like the attention seeker he is.
your eyes snap to furball a small squeal of excitement escapes your lips as you bend down and hover your hand near his nose for him to sniff. the second satoru's nose touched your palm, he decided you were worth his time and therefore he liked you.
and from that day forward you had been inseparable. literally. on the days you'd stay over satoru would damn near teleport to your lap, the second suguru would try and lift satoru off he would hiss like he had grabbed his tail.
don't even get suguru started on how you would push him aside just to fawn over satoru. this was a betrayal so shocking it would put judas to shame. satoru was supposed to be his cat, and yet every time you would leave satoru would whine so much his neighbours would complain.
suguru swears satoru steals your attention just to spite him. yet there was nothing he could do but attempt to cuddle you and pout every time satoru hisses at him.

papa!geto brings his cat satoru to the vet with his daughters and catches feelings for the doctor >3
content: pure fluff. single girl dad!geto x veterinarian fem!reader. catoru au. no curses au. modern au.
suguru shifted the weight of the heavy plastic carrier in his left hand, feeling the rhythmic thump of satoru shifting around inside. in his right hand, he held nanako’s small, warm palm, while mimiko clung tightly to the hem of his black shirt. his daughters looked like carbon copies of each other except for their hair colors—with the matching blunt bobs he’d spent forty minutes carefully trimming and brushing that morning.
"is satoru sick, papa?" mimiko asked, her voice small and worried as they pushed through the glass doors of the veterinary clinic. "he didn't even try to bite your ankles this morning."
suguru looked down and gave her a reassuring smile, his eyes crinkling. "no, baby. he’s just due for his shots. and he’s probably just pouting because he knows exactly where we’re going."
as if on cue, a loud, indignant meow erupted from the carrier. it wasn't a normal cat sound; it was loud, high-pitched, and sounded suspiciously like a demand for immediate release.
"see?" nanako giggled, swinging suguru's hand. "he’s just being a brat."
suguru chuckles softly. “definitely a brat.”
they reached the front desk, and suguru felt a strange jolt when you looked up from the computer. you weren't the usual older doctor he saw. you looked... well, you looked incredible in your teal scrubs, with a stethoscope draped around your neck and a kind, tired smile that reached your eyes.
"name for the appointment?" you asked, your voice smooth and pleasant.
suguru blinked, realizing he’d been staring for a second too long. he quickly adjusted his grip on the carrier. "oh, uh, geto. suguru geto. for satoru."
you looked at the chart and then at the carrier, where a single, bright blue eye was currently glaring at you through the gate. "satoru, huh? beautiful name for a beautiful cat. and who are these two?"
"i'm nanako!" the blonde twin chirped, leaning over the counter.
"and i'm mimiko," the brunette added, hiding slightly behind suguru’s leg. "we're his princesses."
you laughed, and the sound made suguru’s heart do a weird little flip. "well, it's very nice to meet two princesses. i'm the doctor. why don't you all come back to room three?"
once inside the small exam room, suguru set the carrier on the silver table. the girls immediately crowded around.
"be careful, girls. let the doctor work," suguru said, reaching out to ruffle their hair. he pulled his phone out of his pocket to check the time, the screen lighting up to show a photo of the twins sprawled out on his bed, fast asleep, with a fluffy white ball of fur tucked between them.
you caught a glimpse of it as you prepped a syringe. "that's a sweet photo. they look like little angels."
suguru looked at his lock screen and sighed affectionately. "only when they're sleeping. the rest of the time it’s a controlled riot."
"he's a very good daddy," nanako told you very seriously, looking up from her position by the table. "he did our hair today. do you like it?"
you leaned down to inspect their bobs. "it’s very professional. i think your papa might have a second career as a stylist."
suguru’s face heated as he cleared his throat. “well, my princesses have to have the best hair. it’s important in this family.”
as you opened the carrier door, satoru didn't run. he stepped out with the grace of a king, shaking his long, snow-white fur. he was a massive cat, almost impossibly white, with those striking blue eyes that seemed to judge everyone in the room. he walked straight up to you and sniffed your hand with an air of extreme suspicion.
"wow, he really is a king, isn't he?" you whispered, gently scratching behind his ears. to suguru’s absolute shock, satoru didn't hiss. he leaned into your touch and let out a loud, rumbling purr.
"traitor," suguru muttered under his breath, though he was smiling. "he usually tries to swat anyone who isn't me or the girls."
"maybe he just has good taste," you said, glancing up at suguru. the eye contact lasted a beat longer than necessary, a tiny spark of something warm passing between you. you cleared your throat and focused back on the cat. "okay, satoru, just a little pinch."
as you administered the shot, mimiko gasped and hid her face in suguru’s side. he immediately wrapped an arm around her, pulling her close. "it’s okay, mimi. he’s being very brave. look at him."
after the check-up was done, you handed the girls some stickers from a jar—glittery smiley faces and stars. they beamed at you like you’d just handed them gold.
"thank you, doctor!" they said in unison.
you turned to suguru as he loaded the cat back into the carrier. "he's in great health. just keep doing what you're doing. you're a... you're a really great dad, mr. geto."
suguru paused, his hand on the handle. "thank you. that means a lot. and, uh, thank you for being so patient with the whole circus." he hesitated for a second, his thumb brushing the plastic handle. "maybe we'll see you for the follow-up? or... sooner?"
you smiled, a bit shyly this time. "i'd like that. i'm here most weekdays."
"noted," suguru said, his voice a bit deeper.
as they walked out of the clinic and back toward the car, the girls were already buzzing.
"she was nice, papa!" nanako shouted, skipping ahead. "can we go get crepes now? you promised!"
"crepes! crepes! crepes!" mimiko chanted, her earlier fear totally forgotten.
"alright, alright," suguru laughed, unlocking the suv. he buckled them into their car seats with practiced ease, checking their seatbelts twice. "strawberry for nanako, chocolate for mimiko?"
"and a bite for satoru?" nanako asked.
suguru hopped into the driver's seat and looked back at them through the rearview mirror. "absolutely not. satoru is on a diet after the vet told us he's getting a little chunky."
a muffled, angry meow came from the back seat.
"don't look at me like that, satoru," suguru joked, pulling out of the parking lot. "we're going to the park after the crepes. i'll let you sit on the long leash under the big tree while the girls play."
the afternoon was perfect. they stood at the little stand on the corner, and suguru watched with a soft expression as his daughters smeared whipped cream all over their faces. he wiped mimiko’s chin with a napkin, his touch gentle and full of the kind of love that only a devoted parent has.
"papa, you have a funny look on your face," nanako said, her mouth full of strawberry. "are you thinking about the doctor?"
suguru nearly choked on his own drink. "is it that obvious?"
"your ears are red," mimiko pointed out, giggling.
suguru sighed, leaning back against the park bench as the sun started to set, casting a golden glow over his little family. "maybe a little. but right now, i'm just thinking about how lucky i am to have my three favorite gremlins."
he pulled them both in for a squeezed hug, ignoring the sticky crepe residue that ended up on his shirt. satoru, tethered nearby, let out a soft meow and curled up into a white ball, finally satisfied with the attention. suguru pulled out his phone again, took a new photo of the girls with their messy faces and lopsided bobs, and felt his heart feel completely, wonderfully full.
