a friend takes a toll she takes a week off stress is killing her. a week off to rethink a new perspective on work, on love, on life I hope she comes back high spirited healthy, happy, and caring again.
the fleeing moment is all we got in these cubicles of ours.

emptiness on my left
but she is still here in our hearts.
friendship is who you think of when it becomes silent and the mind is clear.

a rabbit said she was hungry today.
a puppy said she was stressed today. a penguin said he was disappointed today. a lion said nothing.
each step i take moves through and affects all around me. the air i breathe turns cold to heat the steps i take make light sounds on the tile floors walking sternly in florescent lights through aisles of electronics and people people chatter surrounds me in english and japanese and incomprehensive languages i am not separate from the universe. i am one small interconnected tissue of the entire universe.
