Cerise: I finally found you!
Azure: Azure heard a sound behind him as he walked down a busy Lumiose Street. He was too anxious to sit still, so instead he decided to take a walk. What he did not expect, was a familiar voice call out to him from behind. He gasped and whirled around, the surprise clear on his face as he saw his old friend behind him.
Cerise: "Azure! There you are! I've been looking all over for you!" She cheered.
She ran up and hugged him.
"Where have you been? We were all worried about you? Why did you run off without telling anyone?"
Azure: He was to stunned to hug her back, and just stood there awkwardly for a few moments, before grabbing her gently by the shoulders and pulling her off of him, "Cerise! What are you doing here? How'd you get to Kalos?"
Cerise: "I came looking for you silly! I came to take you back home...but I ran into some old hag who said you ran away with her here."
Azure: Azure sighed and crossed his arms, "That's not nice, Cerise... I'm guessing you mean Kaira? She's not an old hag! Don't call her that!"
Cerise: She rolled her eyes
"She wouldn't tell me where you are. I was so worried something had happened to you!"
Azure: He sighed again and uncrossed his arms. He shoved one into his pocket, and gestured to a nearby cafe with the other, "Let's... go sit down and talk."
Cerise: She nodded and huffed, "You're right! You've got some explaining to do!"
Azure: Without another word, he turned around and walked towards the cafe. He quickly chose a table on the patio in the back, where the two of them would have at least some privacy from the busy streets. He sat down and gritted his teeth.
Cerise was one of the last people he needed to see right now. What was she doing here?
Cerise: Cerise sat across from him.
Azure: Azure sighed and looked across the table at her, "Cerise... I'm sorry for running off without telling anyone... it's just, I didn't want anyone to know where I was."
Cerise: She slouched her shoulders.
"What do you mean? Aren't I your friend? Why didn't you want to tell me?"
Azure: He looked away from her, "Kanto... Kanto was strangling me. There was just too many bad memories... I... I couldn't stay there Cerise. I caused too much trouble for you and Coal...you were both better off without me..."
Cerise: "That... that wasn't just you, you know! A lot of that was out of our control! I wish you didn't blame yourself for all that!" She said.
Azure: He looked away from her, "To be honest... I wasn't really thinking straight when I left. I needed to get away... I was running." He sighed and looked back up at her. "But... Kalos has been really good for me. I wanted a fresh start... away from my past... somewhere I can start over." He smiled slightly, "I met someone..."
Cerise: Cerise made a face.
Azure: "I told you not to call her that!" He snapped. He seemed to collapse into himself, shrinking down and looking away from her, "H-her name is Kaira. She was the girl I came here with... at first... it was just an excuse. We both had equal damages surrounding Kanto... I thought it would be good for the two of us to... get away."
He paused, an affectionate expression warming up his face, "B-but things have changed. As we stayed here...she's helped me more then anyone else has ever. I feel... I don't know... I feel less 'broken' when she's near me."
Cerise: Cerise made a slightly disgusted noise and her face twisted to match, "Azure... don't tell me..."
Azure: "...I've never felt this way about anyone, Cerise." He said, his voice barely above a whisper, "I...I don't know what to do."
Cerise: Cerise gasped, "Azure! A-are you in LOVE WITH HER?"
She blushed after realizing her voice raised.
Azure: "Maybe" He admitted, "I just... she means a lot to me. I just wish I knew how... how to tell her."
Cerise: She crossed her arms, "Azure! This is so not like you! What happened to you? It seems more to me like she's corrupting you than anything else! You sound like a complete stranger!"
Azure: "What do you mean?" He asked.
Cerise: "I mean, wasn't it you who said relationships are a waste of time? You've never been good with people Azure! You're specialty lies with Pokemon! I'm worried... this isn't like you... how about we forget about this whole thing, and come back with me to Kanto?"
Azure: "Not like me..." He said with a light chuckle, "You're right. It's not like me but... I can't go back Cerise. I'm much... happier here in Kalos, with... with her." He paused, before looking her straight in the eyes, "Cerise... you're better at this stuff then me... will you help me?"
Cerise: "Help you? Azure... I'm worried... I've known you since we were both ten years old. You're going to panic, and you'll end up messing up... and you're going to get yourself hurt."
Azure: "Maybe... but I want to try." He said, "I don't know anything about relationships...but..."
Cerise: "You want my help to ask her out, right?" She spat.
Azure: "Please?" He asked softly.
Cerise: She looked like she was going to refuse but she looked at him and saw how serious he was.
She gave in. She looked away and tried to hide how upset she was right now, but then suddenly her expression lit up.
"Sure. I'll help you. You want to ask her out right? Then why not get her a gift? Girl's like it when guys give them presents." She said.
Azure: "A gift? Like what? I don't have any money..." He replied
Cerise: "Probably something from Kalos. I mean... the two of you ran off together here so it would have more meaning?" A sly grin crossed her face.
Azure: "I can't afford one of those." He admitted, looking sheepish.
Cerise: "You've donated so much money to the Ranch... let me buy it for you! I probably can't spare enough for a large one, but a ring-sized mega stone would be affordable. You can pay me back for it later!"
Azure: Azure nodded, "You're sure? Thank you Cerise! I owe you one!"
Cerise: Cerise grinned, "Don't thank me just yet.... but just remember, if something happens, I'm here for you."
