One of my favourite things about Cursed Child is the fact that it confirms that when you replace three Gryffindors with two emo Slytherins, the issue is resolved well before Christmas holidays.

minerva mcgonagall gets through YEARS of weasley/marauder descendants after the war. and suprisingly, theyre all... not terrors? teddy is responsible enough to be head boy, victoire head girl. roxanne and fred ii, though they do have a penchant for the occasional bit of mischief, are always relatively safe and CLEAN, thank merlin. even james potter only seems to act up in first year, when he can torture teddy as head boy. albus and scorpius give her a fright, of course, but other than that are quite lovely and well-behaved.

and then, once they've almost all graduated out, the babies of the family finally start: lily and hugo. and as first and second years, they're innocent enough, but as time goes on she realises she's gotten too comfortable, and the legacy of the marauders has once again been reborn right under her nose.

but don't underestimate her, she is really sweet and prefers to not fight, but if needed she bites, and hard

she looks a lot like her mother, the veela charms are all over her, her blond locks, fair skin, but Bill's exact shade of eyes. on the personality side she is the perfect mix, but most people, only knowing the famous weasleys, thinks all the strong side of her personality comes from her father, but its really a lot like her mother, fierce but with elegance

being the oldest she feels a lot of pressure, to being the perfect example for the youngers, she comes to term with it, but in a hidden part of her mind she just wanted to do things without the need to be perfect, just be herself and make mistakes

but on the good side, being the oldest mean she is the princess, especially in Molly's eyes, and vic learned to use that in her favor, to have some privileges up her cousins, like boss them around, and when travelling she could get the nicest room, and with less people to share (bcs even being the princess she will be sharing space with others, that is what happens when a big family travels)

likes quidditch as much as any weasley, but chooses to not make her only personality trait, played for a while in hogwarts, but in the last years she only played as a backup

loves living close to the beach, when younger she would be all day in the water, learning almost alone how to swim

when out in the muggle world with uncle harry she discovered surf, and feel in love almost immediately, begged uncle harry to buy her one, and when home swore to her parents that she knew how to surf (it was not true, she almost drowned 20th times, but no one need to know)

she learned really fast, and taught her sibling how to too, it was a bonding time between the delacour-weasley siblings

about her sibling, she loves them, really, but they are hard to deal some time

dom in her child years was a shadow to vic, it was sweet (not to vic at the time), she admired so much her older sister, but after vic’s first year at hogwarts everything changed, no one knows exactly what happened, but they were never the same

vic had a hard time talking to dom, it seemed like doms was other person, everytime they even were in the same room they would start a fight

it were hard holidays to bill and fleur

but after 3-4 years since doms got to hogwarts things got better, not the same, but they love each other, in their harsh ways

louis is the baby, spoiled rotten in vics eyes, even she spoiled him, it was hard to see him outside her little brother, they talked, rarely fought like she and dom did, but being 5 years older than him made hard to get to know him, only in her last few years she got to actually know louis, and she liked how he was, even if he was a little brat some times

when she first got into hogwarts she was scared, being far from her parents didn't seem great, and she could see and hear everyone say “she was the first weasley in a long time in hogwarts” 

and she hated how everyone had an expectation of her, how she was, if she was actually veela, in which house she would be

but teddy comforted her, saying that she has to be herself, and he would be side by side with her. he was the one who clapped the loudest when she was sorted into ravenclawn, the first weasley in the 2000s, and it wasn't a gryffindor

she doesn't remember not having him by her side, and she likes it

they are THE childhood friends to lovers

he was a lot of her firsts, and everything seemed so easy with him, it was easy to fall in love with him

talking about the rest of the family, she has a favorite uncle, and that is harry, up close comes ginny, but she really likes harry

between her cousins she will say she does not have a favorite, that they are all the same, but there is something with roxanne and lily-lu she cant explain

lily-lu its easy to say, she is an easy person to be around, very charismatic and caring, what is there to not like

but with roxy its more deep, vic is roxy older sister by heart, she goes to her for questions, to spend time, to just fly, they understand each other

one thing they got right about her is that she loves fashion, or anything that means looking good, she draws some clothes, has a ton of fashion magazines, magic and muggle, she is the one to go for anything fashionwise

We as a fandom need to talk about teddy and aandromeda more. Like sure harry might have helped teddy when he was younger but harry was a teen and was training to be an auror around this time so teddys main caretaker was a woman who lost her husband a couple months back, who just lost her daughter, sister and son in law in the span of a day (where her sister killed her daughter!!) then has to raise the baby that is an amalgamation of all she lost.

Greif doesnt go away in a year. Andromeda had to deal with that deppresion and mourning by herself while raising a child and i would love to see complex depictions of Andromeda and teddy having a near codependent relationship to eachother or Andromeda not always making the right calls when it comes to taking care of teddy and how that could effect him.

Like guys you could have such an interesting dynamic since they both found the family they needed in eachother (teddy needing a parent and andromeda needing a child) and were brought together by death and-
