Polite menaces, that'll be our brand! 🏴‍☠️ No you are not dreaming, Lys (@lumihanki) and I made a comic titled "Off the books" based on our beloved show Our Flag Means Death, which we both are very excited and proud to share !

📚 It is now published as part of the "Our Flag Means Zine" anthology printed by Fundacja Instytut Kultury Popularnej, NOVA. Czytelnia Komiksów i Gazet - Biblioteka Uniwersytecka w Poznaniu. You can grab one for free during the Poznań Comic Art Festival happening right now (April 18-21, 2024) where you can also come see me!

We now know the final donation amount! Thanks to this amazing fandom, we have been able to donate US$11,004.29 (NZ$16,418.18) to RainbowYOUTH! 🎉👏 BIG shoutout to Vico Ortiz, Samba Schutte, Rhys Darby & Christine Wada for participating in interviews for the zine! ‼️ IMPORTANT PRODUCTION UPDATE

Thank you to our crew who have been waiting patiently! Things on the ship have certainly been rocky, but finally we have a positive update for you all!

It took TWO replacement orders and lots of waiting, but we finally have all the (undamaged!) zines we need, and our finance mod has been absolutely amazing and worked like a beast to pack everything up overnight. This means labelling and shipping the packages will begin happening within the week!

Thank you all again SO much for your patience and support. We can't wait for you all to finally receive our hard work! 🏴‍☠️

Thar she blows! The zine is HERE and packed full of some of the best #OFMD has to offer including 30 artists, 10 writers and 4 interviews with cast and crew. PDF and PDF+Physical purchase available for a limited time, so get yours today! 

All proceeds from the zine will be donated to RainbowYouth, an organization that provides support, information, resources & advocacy for Aotearoa’s queer, gender diverse, takatāpui and intersex youth, so dig up that treasure! 

 Zine shipping will be fulfilled through Blurb, and while they ship to over 70 countries, there are a few they don't ship to. If your country is not listed and you want  a physical copy of the zine, please email us at [email protected] and we'll see what we can do!

‼️ IMPORTANT PRODUCTION UPDATE

We recently received the books from our manufacturer, but due to significant damage done to the boxes they arrived in, many of the books were also damaged (tears, cracked spines, etc.)

We are working on sorting this out ASAP.

Unfortunately, this means that shipping orders out will be delayed until we can sort out this issue.

Our fantastic production mod is going through each of the 20 boxes to document the damage for any claims we will have to make, but with 500+ zines to check and a full time job, we ask for your patience and understanding during this time!
