🚪 - up all night headcanon
peter is a rather slow learner and requires countless hours of group studying and revising on his own to get to a fairly decent level. however, the available hours he could use for such a hustle are limited, as there’s always more homework piling up and various other activities clearly more important than locking himself in the library and burying his nose in a book. thank merlin, he has the required unyielding patience, accompanied by his fear of failure, to keep him up all night in the gryffindor common room, not even a yawn escaping his mouth as he goes through the notes his classmates have lent him.
