When he'd heard Leliana say the name, he'd almost laughed.
Cullen? Knight-Captain Cullen, the Templar?
Except she'd called him Commander and then she'd dismissed Nug with a disapproving scowl. Although most interactions with Leliana ended with a disapproving scowl. Guess that was to be expected after defiling her holy whatever and sticking her through the heart.
Still, getting him to deliver her reports to the Templar? That was just rude. And, knowing Leliana, Intentional. With a great big capital I and a handful of furtive glances at powerful colleagues. He didn't know what the Spymaster's game was, but he was willing to play, at least for today.
So he made the short trip (made longer by the fact that Skyhold was large and had many doorways) to Cullen's office, flicking through the reports idly. Something about the rebel mages coming to an agreement, or the Templar Order being disbanded. Honestly, Nug didn't particularly care, he just wanted to make sure he wasn't unknowingly delivering a folder full of scorpions or something.
Although that did sound fun. He'd have to make a note to do that some time.
Leaning his shoulder against the door, Nug pushed on it, still openly flicking through the report. Carelessly letting the door fall closed behind him, he stepped into the room, ears twitching irritably at the sight of Cullen.
"Templar," he greeted the man, dropping the report messily on his desk, "the Spymaster sends her disregards." With any luck, he wouldn't be recognised, and the encounter would be over quickly.
