Rosetta looked up at the sound of Aladdin’s voice which allowed him to see the cut on her cheek and forehead. His words melted her in an instant and she smiled a little up at him. When he said he’d missed her, that was enough to completely soften her. She stood up and grabbed his face, kissing him.

“I missed you too, Al.” She whispered against his lips before pulling back and smiling up at him. It felt so good to be with him again. Her cheeks colored as her arms dropped from him and she took a step back. “I, uhm, I’m sorry too. I was avoiding you. But not because I don’t like you, cause I do.”

             scar was the type of lion to gather his surroundings before attempting to make a move. he would watch very carefully the movements of the beings around him in order to make a calculated approach to any situation. this is partially why the lion was so intelligent and capable of adapting to immediate change. however, this area was a tad bit different than what he was used to. there were these beings that stood upon two legs and grabbed things using their front... paws? they didn’t appear to be paws, but that’s the only word that scar could jumble together that would make any probable sense in the situation. but that didn’t really trouble him, the fact of the matter is that he was fairly confused about the area that he was in, and he was in hyper-analyzing mode to gather his surroundings.

            the only thing that he was capable of recognizing, species-wise, was a very small monkey that stood upon the shoulder of one of these two-legged beings. he eyed the monkey very carefully, his eyes slowing making their gaze to meet the eyes of the other abnormal creature, locking his piercing green eyes with the being.

          since the opening of the gates the queen often took strolls through the streets of her kingdom ( with guards of course ) . she had forgotten what it was like , being in lively crowds as people went about with their daily lives --- stopping to bow and greet her but quickly returning to their duties . so often she was greeted warmly by the children and every time she’d beckon the baker to bring out some tasty treats for them ( and she always made sure the baker was well taken care of as well for his wares ) . with the baker she passed the children little cookies and there were two extra , one she took for herself and another she stopped a passer-by to give to ,  ❝ here . you have one as well . ❞

                     ❝  My apologies ---- heh.  ❞   He hadn’t stopped LAUGHING considering the monkey was continuous squawking & squeaking with apples stored within it’s arms. ATTEMPTING to balance them all without much of a budge to drop anything it had been holding.        ❝  It’s just, I never seen a monkey act like that ( --- a monkey like this period, honestly.  Not every day someone had a monkey to steal for them. )     It’s a cute little guy, I muse admit.  ❞       With his own stolen food in hand, he looked toward the stranger that the animal was following. Not much was really said before hand, but Miguel happened  to notice that weary look everyone else had in regards to the upcoming amount of guards now occupying themselves in the area of the market. A subtle gasp, Miguel HURRIED to stand, taking a hold of his bread, apple & small coin bag while glancing around frantically, trying to think of somewhere to hide. Though he was EXTREMELY sadden at the fact that he couldn’t watch the monkey do any more amazing tricks.  / @ofstreetrat

Rosetta heard Aladdin’s name called out by a market vendor, bringing a smile to the blonde’s face. She hadn’t seen him since he saved her from her monster ex. So, she ran up and hugged him instinctively.

“Wow, don’t act so happy to see me.” She teased with a playful smack to his chest and a small laugh. “It’s good to see you again, Aladdin. Been a while since I saw you. And, as I recall, I offered to buy you a drink.” She recalled with a quirked brow
