@oftaskforce because we talked about oliver going to patty’s after billy’s death for 0.5 seconds

There was an uneasiness in his gut, his thoughts going a mile a minute as he walked up to Patty’s apartment. Felicity said it wasn’t his fault, which was true depending on how hard he thought about it but he’d been the one to fire those arrows. All Prometheus had done was manipulate him into shooting him because everything around him was supposed to turn to ash. Given his previous experience with letting people into his life, it wasn’t such a bold statement. Laurel, his parents,Tommy, quite a few people on the island all died because of him. His relationship with the new team had it’s highs and lows and now he felt like he let down Felicity in the worst way possible after promising her he was going to find Billy.

Oliver rose a hand to knock on Patty’s door, that tired look had itself etched onto his face since he’d set foot back into the bunker to tell the team what he’d done. His foot was gently tapping on the floor, nothing about his posture expressed anything good though he remained as composed as he could.

he wasn’t sure why the law loved to accuse him of crimes whenever they can. he wondered sometimes if he just had a look about him that made them reach for their cuffs. or it could be he was found at the scene of a crime and chose to sneak away and what he tried to explained sounded nothing but rubbish. 

what was worse he had come up here alone and knew there was no one coming to put up his bail. he was laying down determining his next move, and his escape mummbling to himself about something before he flet himself being watched. 

Turning over he saw a familiar face staring at him.

Well if calling a cop that was with the others while he was being arrested and interrogated familiar. 

'see something you like?” he announced before turning to her. he cocked a brow as he looked her over a small smirk pulling at his lips. ‘you come to take me away luv?” he asked curiously. “you look like you have something you’d like to get off your chest.’

“You must be Ms. Spivot,” he greeted. He hadn’t met the woman personally before but he’d heard briefly about her from others.

@oftaskforce didn’t ask for billy & patty but is getting billy & patty anyway :)

“Are you my new partner? Patty?” Billy asked, approaching the only person he didn’t recognize in the precinct. There were people coming and going but she was wearing an SCPD badge so he could only assume she was who he was looking for. “From Central City?”

The detective held out a hand, setting his cup of coffee down on his desk behind him. It was a little messy but he knew where everything was. Most of the files were on Prometheus and his victims but he was working on making other connections.

“I’m Billy.”

“Oh wow– really? I was starting to think all the detectives around here were playing a ignore the newbie game or something.” She joked, though part of her had considered it actually. She was new to the job, new to the area, and fresh faced and excited to be here so it was nice to have someone being so nice already.

“it just takes time for them to warm up.” he spoke from experience. When he arrived he wasn’t very well received either until they got used to him. “It was me not that long ago that they avoided. Honestly, if they’re just ignoring you they’re treating you a lot better than me.” he joked.
