His loyalty already somehow got tethered to Arthur, even against magical beings (this point—how fast in the show Merlin became loyal to Arthur—this, why am i realizing this properly only now?! :/).

Gaius calling them each others' destiny. Your destiny's calling. You'd better find out what he wants.

i wrote a much much detailed post first btw..but it became so long for just one episode, i'm thinking i wouldn't do that :D..and instead made this average-one-sentence-per-scene one..this is still gonnna take sooo long 'cause as i said, laziness..i estimate 65 days, give or take..bear with me if you can.. :D

i might post the long detailed one with my pointless thoughts too though, sometime later.. :3

not to be a broken record, but seriously though, Merlin episode 1, like what were they thinking!

first of all, Arthur calls Merlin brave on their second encounter!

and then this! this “I can’t quite put my finger on it” part!! like Arthur, dude, you two just met! when did you even get the time to try to figure him out? or have you been thinking all day yesterday and all night too about Merlin only, ‘cause that’s kind of the only explanation!
