as an aside:

A while back, I activated the Disqus commenting function on my Tumblr, so if you'd like to comment directly on an entry of mine, you can do it without reblogging it...

And, you don't need a Disqus account to comment, either. You can (if you'd like!) log in with FaceBook, or under OpenID, among others...but you can also comment as a "guest". In those cases, please sign your comments? *bats eyelashes fetchingly*
