The whispering forest with Rio?
Alright, so Riou is on a mission with some of his fellow army officers in the northern forests of Japan and they have to stake out for a few days. At first, everything seems to go smoothly, but throughout the first night, the men complain that none of them can sleep due to strange noises coming from the forest, so Riou and a few others go out to investigate but they don’t find anything
The next morning they find out that one of their soldiers has abandoned them and presumably fled back to their main army base. They try to contact the main base but all of their communications have somehow jammed and nobody can contact anyone else
Riou urges the soldiers to fall back to their main base the next day and they agree. They turn in for the night but, once again, they hear strange noises that sound like whispering coming from the woods. One of the men tells a story about an evil sorcerer that lives in the woods, hunting humans for sport, but they all shrug it off as a fairytale
The next day, they discover yet another man has deserted his post, but this time they find all of his belongings still left in his tent. Riou and another soldier are determined to find the man, convinced that he would not have left without his equipment and set off into the forest
Throughout their search they hear strange sounds and see strange things, but Riou struggles with an internal conflict - he knows that he has experienced PTSD from his time in war and he wonders if the noises and flashes he is experiencing are real or just hallucinations
The two men get separated from each other and as night falls, Riou has to use his intensive survival skills as a seasoned soldier to find his way back to camp. He manages to get back, however, upon his arrival, he finds the camp completely deserted with all of the men missing but all of their bags and equipment still in tact
Alone and confused, Riou begins to trek his way back to the main army base, trying to keep grounded to reality as he begins to hear more noises that turn into whispering, calling him back to the forest. As the day slowly turns into night, Riou is convinced he is close to the army base and presses onwards despite beginning to see continuous flashes of white and hearing loud whispering voices.
Finally throwing himself through the last line of trees, Riou rushes forward...only to find himself back at the deserted camp he began at. As night falls, Riou is completely disheartened and tries to form a clear plan on where to go next.
Before he can decide, he hears a clear voice whisper behind him, urging Riou to follow. An exhausted, broken Riou can barely control his body as he gives in and finds himself standing up and following the voice, walking slowly back into the depths of the dark, mysterious forest.

Finishing the good place right after the fallout of the spn finale was like spiritual whiplash. But also very soothing cause at least somebody knows how to end a show. Also I will have "oh dip. Are ghosts racist?" Stuck in my head until the end of time
Okay...hear me out
