It had been a day well spent, not too eventful but that was alright by him. Having been a chewsday, he was lucky to have been oblivious to the fact , yup, he'd managed to have an entire chewsday without any sudden assualts.

However, his bubble of awareness bursts as soon as a bite(?) clamps down at his neck. Eyes widened in surprise from being touched without warning at first but they narrow just as soon as realization strikes.

At which point he falls into a loud fit of laughter. Immediately several red puppets jump up with a gesture of his hand and a flourish like the conductor of an orchestra, they all lunge for the blue puppet and also it's puppeteer!

Progress is not achieved through stewing in the past after all, and a ticker tape of fate or fortune is not so easily rewound or reworded.

Though painful in its chest-gripping guilt, that was an easy one to admit. A somewhat publically acceptable shame, for surely there are many who either have, or may soon, come to regret the same. He had been a son too busy, with hands that grew too large to hold. Instead they had been cradling the lives of those who make up an entire city.

"As for how it would change my future, that is impossible to say. What has happened has happened, and cannot be changed. I prefer to focus on what can be done now to change the future. So, if you'll excuse me..."
