TakaKuro headcanon

Kuroko is the only one who can calm down an angry Takao quickly, if only he isn't angry too. Takao yells and throws things when he's really angry but a hug from Kuroko and a few murmured words can make all the tension drop from his shoulders easily.

A Gintama chapter a day keeps the ending away...Lesson 453

MY 10 FAVORITE MOMENTS IN LESSON 453:

Moment 1: Gintoki unsuccessfully trying to escape the party since he couldn’t remember who Kurokono is.

Moment 2: even before the reveal, I remember thinking there is no way in hell that would actually Takasugi. It would just seem OOC for him to just join the reunion party all cas like that. 

Moment 3: I love that Zura easily reduced Henpeita to a lolicon who has been just hanging around Takasugi for no good reason. Burn.

Moment 4: I seriously cannot imagine present day Takasugi fool around on his phone...or even with a phone. This image totally cracked me up because it was so unbelievable. The nervous guys around him were funny too.

Moment 5: Takasugi looking all creepy menacing even with such an innocuous note. 

Moment 6: Still funny the second time. And while Pocari might have been the sponsor of the previous chapter, looks like Yakult was the sponsor for this chapter. Lols.

Moment 7: First time I read this chapter, as soon as I saw this panel, I immediately thought, “oh shit, that’s a bomb”. I kept on waiting for the guys to figure it out...kind of made me nervous throughout the rest of the chapter.

Moment 8: I just love glimpses into the Joui War days and seeing their camaradarie before everything truly turned to shit. Not to mention, in this moment, I just thought Zura looked really pretty, even at less than ideal resolution. I love that man.

Moment 9: All their bickering is just so much fun to watch. Hurts my heart a little too imagining the years they were all separated and all of this interaction came to an end. In the past, it’s moments like this that made me really long for the Joui 4 to reunite and at least be in one place and talking again, and I get teary-eyed sometimes thinking how amazingly, we actually got to see that. 

Moment 10: They looked like they had Mickey Mouse ears on! So adorable!

SHIPS TALLY: 

Gintoki x Takasugi: I felt the chemistry between them. Obviously they used to be in sync since they even chose the same geisha (and I loved the fact that Takasugi, who got her, didn’t even do anything with her, he just drank the night away and ignored her). I bet he actually wanted Gintoki instead. Kukuku!

Gintoki x Takasugi x Zura: the true 3P of the Joui Wars, despite what I said about GinSakaZura last chapter. It’s like sexiness x 3.  

Takasugi x Kurokono: hmmm, I wonder how close. I can’t wait for them to meet up again in the current arc.

Disclaimer: Gintama is not only about shipping. Gintama is hilarious, clever, exciting, poignant, heart-breaking, loving, brilliant, and just so freaking amazing.  It is only due to Sorachi-sama’s generosity that I can enjoy Gintama on yet another level, the shippy level, and I am forever grateful for that. GINTAMA IS LIFE AND LOVE.

Warmth

No one remembered. Again. Kuroko sighed, as he looked at the date on his phone. The 31st January. With a sigh he packed his phone away, and continued to walk. This wasn't the first time everyone forget his birthday, but he was used to it. It was just like with his presence. No one noticed him, so why should they remember. Suddenly, he felt something cold on his head, and as he looked up, he could make out some rain drops. Of course. With his luck this was to be expected. He started running home, every intention to get to the apartment, which he shared with his friend, before it was fully raining. But then he slipped and crashed on the ground, the content in his bag falling out. Luckily, the rain still wasn't that bad, so the papers and books were still pretty dry. But once he was finished and continued to run, the rain worsened. That's the reason he stood before the door the apartment, completely soaked. It was already dark outside, and his roommate was probably already sleeping, so he had to be silent. Quietly, he opened the door and stepped in... only to have his sight blocked be something warm and soft. A towel. Then he felt someone pull his hands away, but the towel still hindered his sight. "Happy Birthday," a familiar voice whispered in his ear. Kuroko grabbed the towel and took it of his head. Takao was standing in front of him, smiling gently. Behind him was the light on and Kuroko could see various decorations. There was also sweet smell in the air. His eyes wandered back to the black-haired boy, who was still smiling at him. "Happy Birthday, Tetcchan!" Kuroko couldn't help it, his heart was ponding and his vision was getting blurry. It took him a moment to realize, that he was crying. "Eh? T-Tetcchan?" And suddenly there were warm arms around him. "It's okay, Tetcchan. Cry all you want, I'll be here." --- That happens, when I spend my time on Pinterest.
