Started off really slow on the Snatches only doing singles to begin with as it has been a LOOOOONG time since I’ve done any Olympic lifts. After only doing singles for the first 3 or 4 rounds, I started doing sets of 4 taking a couple seconds to break and then completing the fifth lift and going straight into unbroken sets of OH Squats. All 12 sets were unbroken.
Finished hard because I was aiming for 10 rounds not realising that I’d actually done 11 once I counted up my board marks. Nice!

Supersets V up crunch 2- 25# db x20 x3 OH squats 5/45 7/45 10/45 Well I took most of last week off. My back was out of place between my scapulas so it was causing a slight pinch on the nerve to my right arm. Still here slightly but not bad. Have to see the chiropractor most likely ...ugh. Don't really want to but whatever. So yes I'm still alive and had a great weekend. Hope you kids did as well. Apparently winter is still being annoying and not fading anytime soon. Oh well one week til March!

I'm just getting to 90 with 55# so I need to work on getting a tad deeper. I'm pretty happy though as I've never overhead squatted 55# for more than one super shaky rep.
WOD:

I used 185# for deads and they felt pretty good. Red band for ring dips. Finished in 10:00.
We were going to do another WOD after since this was pretty short but then 4 of us got talking and it turned into a big hour long life chat. It was the best. The kind of talk that leaves you feeling more whole and reminds you that there are truly good people in the world who also sometimes struggle but are just trying to follow their path.

Monday WOD: Snatch and polymetric AMRAP
Monday 21st July

15 KB swings One handed
2 Wall walks

12 Goblet squats
1) snatch & OH Squat -heavy single
Do a snatch, keep it overhead and then immediately do an overhead squat
First attempt at snatch (25kg)
Need to work on stability activation - wobble like fuck when landing at the lowest point of the snatch.
Need to do shoulder activation - keeping bar above head and armpits rotated forward
2)
7 min AMRAP 5 x TTB - Toes to bar (Knees to elbows progression) 10 x pistols (Knee to floor progression -cannot do this for shit, heal raises off the ground and muscles simply dont fire to get me back up)
rest 3 mins
10 min AMRAP 5 x burpees 10 x box jumps 15 x wall balls
OMFG my hip flexors burn - limits everything I do because its so fucking uncomfortable
