Happy birthday oh-isthatso! Thank you for giving life to one of my favourite characters of all time!
Hey hey hey! I'm curently working on a pretty big asignment so my brain is pretty tired, BUT - I really do want to encourage this christmas time! So I'm drinking a pretty nice christmas beer and enjoying life in general. Oh gosh materialism will always be a sort of inevitable guilty pleasure, I guess... Not that guilty, but you know, gets in the way of some nice idealism :) Anyway, I haven't bought a single christmas gift yet... Hey, what're the best gifts you've ever given? - secret santa
Hey! Ah yes, I know those feels, damn big assignments. I'm pretty sure that tonight I might be trying some Christmas cocktails!! I'll let you know tomorrow if they were any good. Yeah, I totally agree with you about the materialism vs. idealism thing. For Christmas gifts I generally go with a 50/50 split of stuff from shops and stuff I've made, like a painting or baking. Hmmmmm that's really hard. I really enjoy giving people paintings I've made because they take ages to do, and I feel like I've really worked to give them something special. I gave Pearl The Amazing Spider-Man last year or the year before, and we had gone to the midnight screening of it together so it was like this special thing. We quote it a lot haha. I've given my little sister some fab gifts as well haha, once I sewed her a dress out of thrifted disney themed fabric, using a vintage dress pattern. I'm pretty proud of that one! What about you secret santa?

Mine’s also a history essay, about women’s suffrage in New Zealand pretty much, and it’s my last essay of the year too, other than exam ones. I’m awful at leaving everything to the very, very last minute. Hope yours goes well!
Ah yes, exams. Really not looking forward to those. Oh yay women's suffrage, I've studied that in an Australian context and I found it really interesting. I know that NZ was the only place in the world where women won suffrage before Australia so that's pretty cool. Mine's on the policies put through during the Howard Government in Australia and I'm finding it annoyingly complicated. Same to you, hope you're not up too late! :)

I am very much on the same page (woah there, brilliant). I’m trying to write an essay that is thoroughly overdue. Taking a ‘brief break’.
Ba doom cha ;) haha yes all i ever do is take breaks. or reread source material (i'm writing a history essay). this happens every single time i have an assignment it's so bad.
