I as much as I love the new Glukkon designs, I feel like it’s a damn shame Dripik, Aslik, Phleg and Brewmaster got Thanos Snapped retconned out of the series with Soulstorm mostly because now we’ll never get to see how Molluck would interact with those morons and vice versa.

Concept

A reverse Steven Universe where humans with advanced technology capable of space travel colonise various planets across the galaxy and harvest any organic materials from them until there’s nothing left but a hollow shell. One of these planets is one populated by intelligent, silicon based life forms.

During the colonisation process however, a human soldier, after seeing the beauty of the planet and its diverse life, rises up against the authority of earth along with a handful of others and forms a rebellion. This new human rebellion soon grows into an army and an all out war between them and the colonisers ensues. Battles are fought long and hard on both sides, soon however, the colonisers are forced to retreat. But not before the human leaders launch one final blow to the rebel’s with a powerful bioweapon that mutates any remaining humans on the planet into grotesque monsters. The rebel leader and a handful of her closest friends are the only survivors of this devastating last assault, and together, over the corse of many years, they attempt to capture and contain all of their now mutated former comrades until they can one day figure out a way to reverse the bioweapons effects.

Time passes and the leader falls in love with one of the natives. Eventually, they even manage to conceive a child together, only for the leader to tragically die shortly after childbirth. With their former leader and friend now gone, the remaining humans must work together to raise this new hybrid child, and train them in their abilities the best they can. And protect the intellect life of the planet from any threat that may come.
