HEHE YALL I was sooo exhausted after it but in like the best way possible

I made my neck sore the next day (today) from headbanging and got thrown around in the mosh pit I felt like a crash test dummy 😭 but it was sooo fun I loved the experience

I genuinely just want to say that this could not have been a better first time seeing metal bands play in person and being surrounded by people who love them and the music just as much. And I always knew/heard that metalheads are like the kindest people and ITS SO TRUE??? I was like the second shortest person in the room so everyone let me be closer to the front and when I went to mosh for the fist time I IMMEDIATELY got my ass wiped and fell like an idiot but then also immediately got helped up lmaoo

I was so giddy the entire time and the fact that band members are so connected with their fans makes it so impressionable and makes the experience just that much more special! Like when I first got inside I didn’t realize I was standing next to Tyson (from Opal In Sky) for like ten minutes until I went around him to buy their merch and the guy behind the counter asked if I wanted it signed and I was like??? Please oh my god?? And he just tapped on his shoulder and my face could not be more comical as I gawked and got super excited

Then after all the other bands had played (ohhhh my god literally everyone and every song played was an absolute banger I even discovered Burnout they’re so cool listen to their album Sour Cream Files lol) while Opal was playing their bassist Dayton(?) was mostly playing on my side of the stage so he was just interacting with me and others and even put his hand out and we made a heart I actually freaked out 😭 AND THEN HE GAVE ME HIS GUITAR PICKKK

AN. AND THEN at the end I asked for the whole band’s autographs (because I was too shy to ask for the others’ when Tyson signed their album I got) and so not only did they sign my album, they also signed my shirt AND the paper they were using that the bassist gave to me at the end

I would literally watch them a million times over this was such an amazing time
