why is everyone so surprised about Satoru Gojo, the head of the very privileged and wealthy Gojo clan, who always talks about only Japanese Sorcerers and how they're More Important and Better, and was flamingly ableist in his youth (still is a bit), being humbled by Miguel for his second canonically racist remarks?
yeah he was racist in the volume 0 manga btw, where he said to Miguel "why do you sound like Bobby Ologun?" (nigerian born man. Miguel is from kenya.)
brother i'm so tired lmao. just posting for the sake of posting but yeah. i could get into a whole talk about the ableism and xenophobia of JJK and shit like that but i'll bite back for now.
And the way people only take from that chapter that "Gege hates Gojo he made him racist" instead of the true message lying in that interaction between the two.
Y'all, I love Gojo as a character, but I know that I would hate his privileged, rude ass more than Utahime if I ever met him.

additionally i think it's one of those things where, again, this isn't new!!! Gojo always had this flaw!!! (in Volume 0) i am a Satoru fan i enjoy him but i would also hate or otherwise be completely annoyed by his privileged ass if he just kept doing it.
i think it's important and cool that he said sorry or whatever. (still haven't read the leaks proper.) but it's something he still has to learn to unravel, clearly, since he still exhibits similar behavior throughout the series.
