the universe did not give either me or @everyoneinspaceisgay a day off to watch the critical role finale so we have instead been watching it synced up and I gotta say THINGS JUST KEPT HAPPENING

like I did not have ‘essek gets found out by the bright queen’ OR ‘ashton gets banished’ on my bingo card but somehow both happened in the first half

like metal fighting whatever moves, as he does, and amy has a misfortune of standing in his way BUT by luck catches him into a magical trap

and now he has to cooperate and she brings him on some big quest or something and in the process they warm up to each other and stuff....

ok ik youre not really into gawsten BUT IMAGINAE ANGELVERSE GAWSTEN with geoff constantly trying to keep awsten out of trouble and aws who has significantly smaller wings constantly being like "THEYRE NOT DONE GROSWING YET ONE DAY THEY'LL BE AS BIG AS YOURS" and aws has no idea on how self care works so geoff constantly makes sure his wings arent a mess

LISTEN im not anti gawsten but this just seems very brotherly/platonic rather than romantic tbh

geoff Knows awsten's wings won't grow any more than that, but he humors aws anyway, grinning and nodding nd saying "oookay" when aws insists they'll be as big and pretty as geoff's sooner than later 

geoff helping take care of awsten's wings is sweet tho :') aws oftentimes gets so BUSY! he can't possibly maintain them, so geoff will sometimes brush them out for him, make sure they're not too dry. since angel wings are Essentially like bird wings, im sure they need to be kept oiled, so geoff helps with that 

GOD what IF aws has sorta ticklish wings,,,, it's erogenous for a lot of angels, but for him it just makes him giggle and squirm when geoff's combing through his feathers or keeping them moisturized for him. geoff lightly scolds him, but he can't help but laugh when he hears aws laugh
