I installed my Complete edition of HZD on the ps5 and started a fresh playthrough on Ultra Hard. I have to refrain a lot to not lower the difficulty for merchants. The grind is real xD

It's not my first time doing that, so I'll be fine. I'd actually never taken the least optimistic dialogue options for Olara and Brom's quest, I was totally taken by surprise when she decided to let her brother go back into the wild alone. OO

I guess i've always tended to go for more empathetic options, despite playing the game so many times. I'm taking a lot of silly pics :b Olara : Excuse me, i'm trying to grieve, here

Update : the grind was too real, so i lowered the difficulty to get some REAL weapons when I arrived at meridian. xD I was weak.

WIP ~ Crimson Daughters

Name ~ Lady Olara Peacechaser. Known as Mother Olara to her assassin recruits.

Age ~ 60

Appearance ~ Fairly tall and slender, she keeps herself fit and in good condition, more so than many women half her age. She has iron grey hair, cut to shoulder length, an unusual style for women of her rank. She has brown skin and sharp black eyes, and her arms are covered in extensive burn scars from her childhood.

Sexuality ~ Heterosexual, but voluntarily celibate.

Background ~ Olara was born with the name Mefuria, and raised in the land of Travos. But when she was five years old her parents were murdered and their house burned down. Olara was adopted by a mysterious stranger who fled with her to the neighbouring kingdom of Valikon. There he changed their names and was eventually made a lord of the royal court.

Characteristics ~ Olara is intelligent, unyielding, strict and determined. She demands perfection and complete dedication from those who follow her with little tolerance for mistakes or disloyalty. Some call her cold and calculating, others say she is callous and cruel, and yet others would say she’s a visionary who wants only what is best for the kingdom. One thing is certain however. If there’s something Olara wants, she gets it. Regardless of the consequences.

Likes ~ Her job. Power. Being respected. The satisfaction of seeing someone receive a just punishment.

Dislikes ~ Injustice. Being questioned. Disloyalty. Most of the nobility. Fire.

Details ~ Olara’s adopted father raised her in the ways of swordcraft to defend herself against her family’s enemies, but she instead turned those skills to assassination. Disregarding her father’s pacifism, she founded the Crimson Veil, a group of female assassins (whom she calls her Daughters) dedicated to tracking down and killing those who escape justice. Her Motherhouse Hospital acts as the group’s cover, but Olara cares little for healing. Her lingering anger from her parent’s murder fuels her desire to see all criminals punished, often in a way more brutal than they may deserve. She is ruthless in dispensing justice and commands her Daughters as if they were her own private army. She adopted Efira Warheart after the child’s parents were also killed, hoping perhaps to raise another one such as herself and mould her into a suitable heir, despite their many differences.

When the King is assassinated by someone outside their ranks, Olara is confronted with the ghosts of her past and involves herself in political intrigues far above the levels she is used to. Her thirst for justice at any cost may put her secret organisation and her Daughters into greater danger than ever before ...
