Naming him has been so painful because I went down a rabbit hole, and had like a whole ass argument in my head over what suited him the most.

Xiǎoyuè -won because I'm a simpleton.

Yuè 月 for moon, and Xiǎo 晓. which can mean dawn or daybreak. (and knowing? It can mean a lot of things apparently and I tried going through different sites to make sure I found what it meant.)

Anyway, So in my head I was like dawn..moon. Morning moon? Sounds perfect. (I couldn't find a better translation?? But I am trying to dig up as much as I can!)

小月 is also a alternant spelling which can mean 'small moon." Which I thought was cute.

Just some face variants. i like giving myself space but only to the extent of a large ground finch beak vs green warbler finch beak. Also Indecisive on the neck and arms so decided both types are good - arms can be joined at the shoulder/elbow or not at all

Cradle - depths

some stay in the cradle- they braid eachothers hair and make merry. Often grouped into pods determined by growth/branch pods can be pairs or up to 12 ppl. Pods do not like being separated all hues who left the cradle cut their hair - Hues who leave must return 1-2 times a week as they cannot live separate from their god/main Plant

they can look like people. They stay under 163 cm-don’t age. Hue’s are all leaves from a plant so they find individualism silly. They try to create healthcare/welfare systems while also trying 2 have people join them in the cradle. Blindingly kind - leaders are more cynical

healer plants ig kinda like magical aloe vera they’re trailblazers in the medical field and are one of the only groups trying to cutdown on slavery/trafficking

They might have cunning little faces but they can commit no sin truly just innocent babies shocked by how terriblethings are outside their lil forrest

For introduction purposes these refs are old and corny and r just gonna be placeholders for now.. I'll make a newer refsheet of them soon (eventually haha..)

Oops I didn't put the first guy's name in the refsheet... oh well his name is Faz, his actual spelling name is Fazze and he's 18 y.o.

RZ and Faz have been best friends since elementary, supposedly college students and dormmates (what a coincidence lol..)in the present, at least thats what I decided for them to be.. ever since then I js stuck to it

Faz's mask isn't permanently stuck on his face. When he's wearing it, he's unable to smile or express with his face to convey emotions. But when he takes it off, he can express his emotions freely. The reason? Idfk. I might add lore on it for a better reasoning

Faz is bi with no preference (formerly with female preference, cuz I was surrounded by straight cis guy friends before. I just wanted to give the impression that Faz is "straight"). And RZ is straight (or is he 🤔)
