Thus, if the above statement is true, and I do believe it is, when life seems relentlessly hard, she’s not trying to kill you, she building something in you. Lean into it, not away. 15. Whatever life is building in you WILL be beautiful!! 16. Lastly, it’s incumbent upon you to share that hard earned beauty with everyone you meet. Because, life is all about people. 17. There is something sacred and holy in figuring out how to love each other. How to care for one another. Seems to me we will spend most of our days on this point alone. 18. (1/2) I’ve been 45 for exactly 24 hours. I now know some things😉. This is what I know for sure: 1. 45 is the first age I have arrived at that sounds straight up old. I’m not saying I’m old. I’m just saying it sounds it. I still feel like I’m 28 ish. 2. I now know how the Geromee Romes of the world are created and keep showing up at the club with folks half their age: they still feel 25🥴 (Please go home. You’re not) 3. The concept of a home team advantage is real. It’s a tangible phenomena. We can actually perform better when people are pulling for us. 4. Unfortunately, in most situations in life, there will be no such advantage. In most situations, you will be the traveling team: tired, in strange surroundings, playing in front of people who are pulling for the other guy. 5. This isn’t a bad thing, though admittedly it’s no fun while in it. When you are the traveling team, you are stretched and challenged on every front. This alone will cause you to grow. You know how you become someone who delivers clutch plays? You got to be in the clutch. Over and over and over again. 6. One day, that clutch muscle will amaze you. You will see yourself be better and stronger than you ever dreamed. That clutch muscle is something fierce. It changes lives. Your life the most. 7. Dreams are real and you should pursue them. They often are the whisper from God as to why He brought you here. 8. Every one of us has a whisper dream. Every...one...of us. Pretending you don’t hear it won’t help you. The whisper will just keep you up all night. 9. I’m scared almost every time I try something new or take a step closer to my destiny. Yet the fear has yet to kill me. It won’t kill you either. 10. Life is short. On the continuum of time, we’re here for a nano second. Make it count. 11. I know that life is hard and back breaking at times. Sometimes her hardness can be relentless. 12.
