Up next for Old Content October, we have a nearly-finished sketch of Jhaelith, one of the rangers on my all-sylvari ‘rp’ account (that I in fact never actually rp on). This is from March 2017 and I believe what may have stopped me from sharing it before was that I thought their pets turned out a little weird looking, but enough time has passed that I’m not sure what exactly bothered me about them so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Digging up old/unfinished/unposted WIPs for Old Content October and very abruptly remembered these exist! Over the summer I was screwing around with CSP but it was the trial version so I couldn’t save/export, so instead I just print-screened what I had, flung them at a friend over DMs, and them promptly forgot about them (until now obviously). But anyway here, have a scribbly lizzer in her OOC club outfit that gives me unfathomable brain worms. 👀👀👀
Day 16 of #drawtober2021 #drawtober #OldContentOctober. Also from 2019, i uploaded individual #Kirby characters in their Dreamy Gear outfits, but only got this far with the project. I do still like how they turned out.

Please let me share my “magnum opus” (hahaha), “Pull It Together” AKA “The Lorenz of Doubt.”
This is my biggest fic project to date! It is a duology (2-fic series) for Fire Emblem: Three Houses for my favorite ship: Leonie / Lorenz. Each fic follows the same time period but with a different focal character. (So, one is Leonie POV and one is Lorenz POV.) It clocks in at about 150k between the two fics. It is, to date, the longest work (together and separately) for this ship.
Leonie Pinelli is a commoner, poor, practical, and completely lacking in romance. If her feet were any more firmly on the ground, she’d be in it. Like a potato.
Lorenz Hellman Gloucester is noble, rich, morally upright, and overly uptight. If he gets any more tightly wound, he’s going to pull something.
An unexpected friendship becomes rather something more through bad haircuts, shared food, and a continent-spanning war.
OR: Leonie/Lorenz slowburn friends-to-lovers paired fics, one written from Leonie POV and the other from Lorenz POV as the two dunderheads grow up, experience Emotions, and eventually get a clue.
Leonie’s POV features: Swearing! Impostor syndrome! Folk music? Handicrafts!
Each fic in the series is readable independently, and their intersecting but nonidentical journeys (and different voices) mean that each has its own flavor and appeal.

The story starts during the Academy phase when Leonie and Lorenz are friends, then the war breaks out, and it follows them through the time skip and the war.
Each fic is readable independently (by design, and also people have read them separately and reported back that they had fun), but they are also fun as a pair. There’s a lot of stuff in Leonie’s fic that doesn’t make it into Lorenz’s fic, and vice versa. I also have a friend who read it fandom blind and had fun with it! So that is wonderful too :)
It has a lot of original worldbuilding for the Leicester Alliance. It has cute moments. It has funny moments. It has plot stuff. It has lots of Golden Deer cameos.
One interesting thing (for me) is that you can see my writing get better over the course of the fic. Like, on the one hand, bummer that I wasn’t perfect throughout. On the other hand, you gotta love growth!
This is the single longest fic for this ship! Like, taken separately and taken together. And I’ve written a goodly amount of other stuff for these two as well. At one point I manually calculated by WC what percentage of leonie/lorenz fics I had written, and I was at 75%. I’m sure the number is different now, but that’s fun to think about.
Final note: I made hard copies of it, and they look pretty rad
Found a monthly challenge I can actually do for once, Old Content October! Not every day will end up here because they aren’t all GW2-related, but if I dig up any they’ll appear here (and quite a few of them should be from what I can tell)!
First up on the list is this old design cleanup for Kirslyn’s mordrem form which also acted as a style test, from December 2016! I’ve drawn her mordrem form before and after this but somehow this never escaped project file containment so here it is! I still really like this style but it was super time-consuming so I’ve never done it again. @.@
Hark! Rats be upon ye! Another ancient thing dug up for Old Content October, I worked on these on and off from April to August of 2017 as the number of participants slowly grew. Inspired by the retro style of the Super Adventure Box, I had each of my friends pick an RPG class for their asura to be depicted as, and then had intended to color them simply and/or in a pixel style but lost steam after the sketch phase. Codenamed the ‘RPG Wee’ project, I maybe offhandedly mentioned it once ever but it never made its way past our guild discord as a series of WIPs. Technically though the sketches are all complete, so I think it’s well past time I show them off!

Another 2017 WIP for Old Content October, it’s my sweet baby onion necro from my not-actually-rp rp account, Yuwael! This version of her would be post-HoT when she finally became a reaper, and this art was meant to be a long-term project to work on because I was enamoured with the outfit I made for her to mark the occasion. However, as per usual, I trailed off after about 2 months of sporadic work and never went back. Even though those feathers drove me crazy I do stare wistfully at this every so often, so maybe someday it’ll get finished, who knows?
