Q&A:

What’s the meaning of your url? Honestly, I chose intentionals just because it has a nice ring to it. But I've sort of become attached to it. I make a LOT of mistakes and sometimes I say stupid things on purpose to make people laugh and sometimes I don't...I don't know, lately I've just been thinking a lot about conscious choice and what it means to do something "intentionally" versus unintentionally or subconsciously this makes no sense oops

What’s your favorite movie of all time? Lilo and Stitch. It's really cute when you watch it when you're little, but as you get older, you notice more layers to it, and it's one of those movies that just gets better the more you watch it.

Who is your favorite music artist? asdfghjkl; I can't choose I love way too many bands. Today I've been listening to a lot of Jack Johnson, plus I love Young the Giant and Maroon 5 and Simon and Garfunkel and Led Zeppelin and Radiohead and Passionpit and Kopecky and Mumford and Imagine Dragons and everything aaah music I can't even

What do you do best? Mess things up. I'm a pro at fucking up my own life, and everyone else's. But actually, in all honestly I think it's that I'm a really good judge of character. I know who's a good friend, and who's not, and I may not always able to act on that (I really need to friend-break-up with a few of my school friends but I can't bring myself to do it) I always know

Who is someone you can rely on the most and what’s your favorite thing about them? Renee and Maggie are both amazing human beings and I love them to death. Maggie and I have gone through A LOT together lately (relating to aforementioned school friends) and I feel like we've bonded more in the last month than we have in the past three years. I honestly can't think of a single bad personality trait that she has...it's kind of ridiculous. And Renee...where do I start? We've known each other for almost 9 years now, and I can't imagine my life without her. She's really made me who I am, and I'm so glad we've been able to stay best friends for so long, even though we don't go to the same school.

What is your biggest dream atm? Honestly? Probably to make it through until the summer. This year was great up until winter break, and it's just steadily getting worse. I'll be so happy when it's over.

Would you rather live in our world or another world where everything was perfect and everyone lived in harmony and why? Our world, because as much as stuff sucks, the perfect world would get incredibly boring. Also, I wouldn't be able to appreciate beauty if I was constantly surrounded by perfection.

Do you have siblings and how many? One younger brother...he's turning 14 in a couple weeks

Why did you get tumblr? I'm a part of this online writing group (which I haven't been on in forever aah I'm sorry youngins if you're reading this), and a whole bunch of people on it had fandom blogs. And it sounded fun, so I got one. It just progressed from there XD

Top 5 favorite dishes/food? I like all the food wheee. Chocolate, cheesecake, Chinese food in general, Thai food in general, and kabobs from this kabob place near my house

When was the last time you just wanted to pause a moment and live in it forever? Probably during the cast party after the spring play. I actually made a short speech, which I never do, especially when I'm with a bunch of people who I've only known for a few months. It was one of those amazing moments and I already miss the play so much bhajnskdfxc

Do you believe in wishing on 11:11, shooting stars, or throwing coins into wells? I don't know if I believe in it, but I do it. It keeps me sane. I don't know why, but it does.

What’s something you want to see happen before the year ends? I don't know man I just want it to end. But probably by the end of the calendar (not school year), I want to figure out my schedule so I can do either a musical or a play (or both...that'd be ideal, but not likely), plus robotics and AP chem. Also, I want to finally get back to teaching myself guitar and piano.

What do you love to do? Sometimes I like singing, but damn, I suck at it. I like listening to music, I like sleeping, I like blogging, I like writing (unless I have a writers' block sigh)

Describe the ideal setting you want to live in. I want to live in a city, where I can walk places. I can't walk anywhere from my house, and it's my least favorite part of where I live, so that's my main criteria. I think I'd like a city with lots of cafes, bookstores, and good restaurants (which is part of the reason I'm so enthusiastic about going to Reed College in Portland)

Favorite guilty pleasure? I don't really have one?

Vent about something you’re frustrated about. Oh man you don't even want me to start on this one trust me I'll go on about it forever and I'm sure none of you want to hear that.

What image or memory can always make you genuinely happy? Anything related to CTY, eighth grade robotics, or the spring play. Those are three of the best experiences I've ever had, and while thinking about them makes me happy, it also makes me cripplingly nostalgic. 

What’s the last time you regretted not saying something? I regret not telling a friend something she deserves to know. She should've been the first person I told, but I never had the chance. I feel almost as if I've betrayed her by not confiding in her, and I wish I had because I trust her and love her.

Are you an outspoken person? Why or why not? I talk a lot, but I don't say much. I blabber on about pointless things but rarely talk about how I feel or actually significant things.

What’s on the walls in your room? A huge Harry Potter poster is above my bed (my pride and joy ok...it's from Borders, from the release of the seventh book so I'm sure it's like super rare or something??), an inkheart poster, a platform 9 3/4 poster, a van gogh exploding tardis poster, a national book festival poster, a pretty little canvas with a quote from American Pie on it that Renee made for me, and a corkboard covered in random memories (everything from old christmas cards to notes friends have written for me to things they've drawn for me to my old CTY lanyards) and some more practical stuff, like my calendar and there's a thumbtack in the cork board from which I hang my house keys

Describe a conversation you had with someone that made you realize you really loved them. (Can be friend, family, or romantically). Well I already knew how much I loved Maggie (she's the Pedro to my Pablo yo), but one night a week or so ago when there was a whole bunch of friend shit going on, we facetimed for an hour and I felt so much better at the end of it. It got stuff off of my chest and cheered me up and asrklz that's what friends are for right

What is your favorite rainy day activity? Sitting inside with English Breakfast Tea, a book, netflix, and tumblr. Or just sleeping.

If you could be anywhere in the world right now, where would you be? Somewhere else. Somewhere new and exciting. I don't know exactly where, but I need to get away, and I need a change.

What’s the hardest thing you’ve ever done, and was it worth it? Maggie knows what it is. A couple weeks ago, we did a thing that had to be done, because we were worried about a friend, but we both feel like complete assholes, like we've betrayed her.

What is the most beautiful thing you’ve every seen? This isn't something you see, per se, but it's that feeling when you're sitting in a room with a bunch of people and you know that everyone wants to be there, and everyone is happy with where they are. In that room, and in life. And you can tell that you're important to them...just as important as they are to you. And everyone is happy, but not the loud kind of happiness. The quiet kind of happiness, the kind that speaks for itself.

Design a fictional world and populate it. But I'm lazy and tired.

if you could capture anything in art, what would you capture? I'd try to capture how I feel in a moment, or more generally. Just because I feel like if I could get it down on paper, even if it's in art, not words, it would all make so much more sense.

Favorite story? I don't really have one. I'm a bit of a story junkie though...I always look up fun little anecdotes (so I know a whole bunch of random little stories) and read a lot...I basically seek out any kind of story wherever I can find one. I feel like it helps my writing, and myself as a person. It's nice to be able to see something through someone else's eyes, even if it's something boring and not even slightly life changing, like going to buy groceries. Stories allow us to see out of someone else's eyes, which we rarely get to do. And that's is why sometimes it's scary to tell a story...you're letting people see things through your eyes. That was a rant and I didn't answer the question whoops I'm getting less focused the later it gets.

Favorite actor? Emma Watson is brilliant. Actually, the whole Perks cast (Logan and Ezra are my babies ok). After the finale last night, I have a new appreciation for Mark Sheppard as an actor, so yeah him too. Also J2M, but I'm angry at Supernatural at the moment so we aren't going to talk about that.

 What are you wearing right now? i'm wearing military green skinny jeans, black shirt, dark grey sweatshirt, a silver pyramid necklace (my favorite <3) and grey vans (authentic).

Favorite songs/artists? currently my favorite band is passion pit and i'm obsessed with sway by the kooks and gold on the ceiling by the black keys. i also like imagine dragons and young the giant <3

What book are you reading/last book you read? right now i'm reading the kite runner by khaled hosseini and looking for alaska by john green (i'm not loving it though, don't kill me please) and the last book i read was fifty shades freed and OMG I LOVE THAT TRILOGY! ok yea haha

Describe your best friend. i actually have two best friends, but instead of describing them i'm just gonna say that they're the best of the best, i really couldn't ask for more, they're awesome and though we disagree sometimes we always find a way to work things out. i love them just the way they are bc they're perfect. these are my best friends 

What is your biggest insecurity? my biggest insecurity is the fact that there's always a possibility of failing, i put all my heart on most of the things i do and there's always that fear that maybe it's just not enough. i'm also very insecure about losing control, that's the reason why i don't drink or do drugs.
