Day 2 of #OCPride for #PrideMonth. Hildegaarde “Huey” Hannibal was the main character of the original version of’Rose-Tinted World back in 1999 or so, when I was making my first forays into online comics. She was a tomboyish lesbian trying to acclimate to having moved to a bigger city from a small town in her last year of high school. It was basic slice of life fare, again, much like the Benji Bartholomew version that came later. While on the hunt for where I had left various art supplies today I found several not quite forgotten, but certainly very dusty, works in progress in my art supply storage closet. Thr first three are all 9x12" acrylic paintings and the last is just under 4x4" black canvas board with acrylic paint pen doodled on top. . I am keen on finishing all of these!
